Chineese do know who help them when china was not at UN and the resolution to accept china at the UN was an albanian one!
China is much more interessed in albanian mines and albanian market, were it has opportunity, than in serbian market!and much more albanians have studied in china than serbs...
And chinese in albania have always been very respectfull and very good during their cooperation !
Don't worry, they do the best for us!

Berkely,

If china drops those t-bills on the market, you know what happens right? Sure they lose all that cash, but america's ability to borrow goes out the window! America needs china more than china needs america.

The Chinese here in Silicon Valley are some of the best, most productive, extremely educated, intelligent and successful immigrants. The statistics prove that solidly.

China is undisputedly the Number Two Super Power now. They are going to be extremely important this century. Serbia is an important regional player and has strong ties to East and West, its strategically important politically for China and they know they can have a dependable ally in Serbia.

Serbia can offer Chinese more engineers, architects and construction workers/projects. There are top Serbian engineers all around the world.
Chinese are weak in this area and have a lot of collapses of housing and buildings - even without earthquakes.

George is right. We have quite a lot of Chinese in Australia and there is no problem at all and never has been any problem with Chinese immigrants. They are hard working and very smart. Quite a lot of doctors here are Chinese and they do a wonderful job.
Tne less skilled ones are involved in trade and I would rather buy from them than a lot of others. They give you a fair price for what they do.

Their food is delicious as well. Many Chinese restaurants here do very well and I am glad they have brought their cuisine here.

Shame the same can't be said of Albanians here. I don't see any contribution made by them at all.

Serbia is wise to accept Chinese immigrants. They have enriched Australia and can only do the same for Serbia, unlike immigrants from some other parts of the world.

I am a little bemused to see the number of negative comments on here. The Chinese are some of the hardest working people I have come across here in Australia.

In regards to the article - it's nice to see that while Serbia is seeking co-operation they are still keeping things in perspective. Serbia is a small market for China but there are still many things to gain.

My question to you George is even despite your criticism of Kosovar-Albanians do you have any compassion for innocent ethnic Albanians who were oppressed? Do you agree that it's imperative that some of their Serb oppressors end up jailed at the Hague? As for friendly relations between China & Serbia I've got no problem with it except if it meant that they "gang up" on Kosovar-Albanians,in fact I wouldn't like it if some Chinese & Serb citizens conspire to harrass or ethnically harrass ethnic Albanians. Finally when I noticed the term Islamofascist you used, please realize that NOT ALL Muslims are wrong-doers.

@Roger7

The US and China needs each other. That is the neutral statement. China is powerful and will become even more powerful, but it looks for cooperation with the West, whereas Russia has just a big mouth with its small power even more decreasing.

@ MikeC

You didn't get what I mean. Why there are no official number of Chinese in Serbia? According census there are 0 (Zero!) Chinese in Serbia. Why? Because China wants it like that and the Serbian lapdog willingly to do anything as long as somebody stumbles "Kosovo je Srbija". That is price for Srbia, because it has NO(you didn't reply my question). And regarding your failed attempt of an typical Serbian insult... you never heard of Triades? They are number one in Asia regarding drug smuggling and they are certainly part of it when it comes to send more colonial Chinese to Serbia. But you will see soon enough what that means. FBI can send thick folders full of cases regarding them. Their (financial) power exceeds Serbian (Zemun) and Albanian mafia, together.

But you also failed to explain what Serbia can offer China, except for accepting more illegal Chinese in and around Belgrad, until they become the largest minority. How about the non-registered Albanians in Kosovo? The EU or UN should hold a census to finally figure out where all people in Kosovo were actually born and how and why they got there (illegally or legally).

George

Its hilarious some Kosovo Muslims are worried about the Chinese!!! The Chinese are a refined and industrious nation. We have many Chinese here in Australia and they are great entrepreneurs. They never cause any problems and they never blow up buildings or trade human organs!!

Tadic is right to welcome investment from the nation that will be the world's largest economy in less than two decades. China has also amazing scientific and innovation capabilities.

Importantly, China has excellent relations with Serbia and the Chinese will never forget how their Belgrade embassy was bombed by the Americans and NATO when NATO was supporting the Islamofascist KLA to ethnically cleanse non-Albanians from Kosovo.

The Chinese are also no doubt interested in having an intelligence capability in Serbia to monitor the jihadists in Bosnia and Kosovo who have links with jihadists in China's western regions.

China in the Balkans is a good thing - good to see the Serbs playing such an important role. Keep going!!! Can't wait to see the Russian President in Serbia also!!
