Milan.
I don't know where they are but thy are somewhere, unless like some Albanias who lived in Kosovo during 1999 they are not anymore.
(Nexh, 15 August 2009 00:00)

Unless you know where they are, you cannot be sure they are anywhere.

Maybe parts of them are living on in some rich guy's body.

I'd like to see KPS going to those so called voting places and arrest the organizers for trying to destabilize that region of Kosova. If you like serb political parties then why not move to serbia.
(Nelli_Canada, 14 August 2009 05:40)

Nelli, Kosovo IS in Serbia, despite your neverneding huffing and puffing.

Jason, Ian UK, insists that he is not Albanian but rather English. He said that the reason he is on Albanian side is because he had one Albanian family living with his family for a while until they got settled in England. I don't know how he managed to communicate with them as not being Albanian himself and most likley not learning to speak Albanian in England but there you are. He writes on other sites championing for Albanians and Bosnian Muslims.

He says he is not Albanian but managed to successfully communicate with that family to the point of getting brainwashed by them. Go figure.

Jason or you are just a Serbian in disguise? Who ever you are; I must let you know that Serbia is causing troubles all over ex-YU, 20 years now. In case you’re really Jason (actually in Kosovo) as so many of your kind, earning lot of money by doing nothing but washing brains of people who have lost compass, due to above-mentioned, here you are a suggestion: either get to work or get lost. Because we have plenty of our incompetent individuals pretending politicians, who have been dong nothing but selling fog to their own desperate nation

I thought according to SCR 1244 (that Serbia is talking so highly about) defines that the local elections are under the jurisdiction of UNMIK and not Serbia. By organising local elections in Kosova(o) Serbia is in clear breach of 1244! Or is Serbia just using 1244 when it suits its purpose. Interesting approach of the Serbia's authorities.

everyone knows that there are no Serbs in Peja and Prishtina, maybe few dozens at the most.
(Nexh, 14 August 2009 04:31)

Can You explain me why in Peć and Priština in no Serbs?? In early 90's in Peć lived about 8000 Serbs and in Priština about 40000!! Where they are????

This is funniest story I've ever seen. Election for municipalities of Pristina and Pec?? Come on guys be more realistic, everyone knows that there are no Serbs in Peja and Prishtina, maybe few dozens at the most. Who are they going to govern? Their own family members perhaps?

Mike

"I never met the phantom Mayor of Prishtina but I had the opportunity to see the phantom of Peja. I am dying to know what is their funtion as Mayors of these two large municipalities???
(Kosova-USA, 13 August 2009 12:06)"

I met the Serbian "mayor" of Pristina in Gracanica. He's a great guy. Very jovial, but with only 60 Serbs left in a city that once held 45,000, his job is somewhat limited. Now if the Albanian mayor of Pristina has jurisdiction over Gracanica, why hasn't his highness come to talk to his Serb constituents?

I don't think there is any reason to over react here. EULEX is status neutral so it will allow parallel ethnic Albanian institutions to exist along side Serbian ones.

Ian, why are you calling for more terrorist activity in Presovo? The last time an ethnic Albanian woman and her son were injured.

Jason

Belgrade stirring up trouble again. Kosovo should retaliate by stirring up trouble in that Presevo area.
(Ian, UK, 13 August 2009 13:05)

Is your real name Ian and you are just brainwashed by the UK news or are you an Albanian in disguise? I ask because of your often ridiculous comments here, specifically this one encouraging Albanians to cause more trouble in Presevo. Have you nothing else to do in the UK or are you actually here in Kosovo like I am?

If this is going to continue as Serbian policy in Kosovo, than EU and EULEX should punish Serbia for such actions in terms of them joining the EU, as well as liberation of visas (note they should cooperate with Eulex, in order for this to go through), but again they will be seen as an obstacle to EU doing their job in Kosovo, as well as an obstacle in creating an multi-ethnic society, which is the goal of ALL institutions in Kosovo.

Beograd called on K-Serbs to boycott the local election in Kosovo on November because of lack of security. So they “know that security in November will not meet the Beograd criteria”, however K-Serbs are “more then secured” to participate on August “Beograd mastered local election to “run for mayor” of Pristina and Peja/Pec.
Who in the world can believe what comes from Beograd official mouth other then manipulated K-Serbs?
Let’s let them, K-Serbs, not Serbs from UK or Ireland or US to answer this question.

Zoran

I think the peaceful option here is for Serbia to accept our ethnic Albanian citizens having parallel institutions as they've had them for decades. It all falls in line with our more than autonomy, less than independence offer.

Kosova-USA

Voters will cast their ballots for municipal authorities of Priština, which have been dislocated to Gračanica, and Peć, moved to Goraždevac.

The real Mayors for these two Municipalities are: Isa Mustafa (Prishtina) and Ali Berisha(Peja). I never met the phantom Mayor of Prishtina but I had the opportunity to see the phantom of Peja. I am dying to know what is their funtion as Mayors of these two large municipalities???

Milan

So - Serbs in Goraždevac and Gračanica will vote in SERBIAN elections - not in "Kosovan".

Very good. This peoples distrust "government" in Pristina consists peoples who commanded terrorist force in 90's and who clean Kosovo from Serbs.
