500 years of Krušedol monastery

Cheers to a little known, but incredibly important historic monastery!

I'm sure will soon hear how this was built on the foundation of an early Illyrian Church.

We visited it few days ago. Can post some pictures. Very nice place, indeed.

Like last time with negative comments about X'mas and Easter - all my sympathy and condolences to three very depressed readers here who can't go through this economic crisis to well. Cheer up, the life can't be THAT bad.

And Milan, it was built on the site of an early celtic temple, everything in Vojvodina being originally celtic AND WE WANT IT BACK!

Not before we take back that KosovO/A, chase away pesky Serbs+Albanans and re-name it back to original "Rigómezö". Or maybe not... ;-)

While here it is of course a joke - some people not far from where we are living think about such crazy ideas seriously. I promised pictures, they will come, all I need to do is to drive on Rte 10 and take pictures of some political ads, just before the Auchan Pilis supermarket.

"The festivities today saw Pajtić presented with the Order of St. Arsenije Sremac, for his contribution to the monastery's reconstruction."

Wrong, Pajtic accepted the award on behalf of the Assembly of Vojvodina, his press services just fudged the details, as B92 would have discovered for themselves if they had bothered to cover the event.
