Why doesn't it surprise me that the biggest privatisation rorts would have the name "Socialist" Party of Serbia written all over them?

Why doesn't it surprise me that the biggest privatisation rorts would have the name "Socialist" Party of Serbia written all over them?

This demonstrates that privatization has been harmful to Serbia - as it's been carried out. And Serbia should not have rushed it or undergone so much as it has. It definitely hasn't helped the economy at all.

Serbia is going bankrupt, now they are talking about borrowing money from IMF to fill the deficit (near 8%) --- the beograd "politicans" are willing to settle for 4.5% inflation. GOOD LUCK!!

This is starting to look like regime collapse. now the question is for how long the west will spend time and money fighting agaisnt voters will in serbia. serbs choose one thing they come up with frankenstein coalitions. finally though i think we'll have prime minister nikolic and lets finally see if he's any good

Massive lay-out of the workers in Serbia is going to be a big problem this autumn. Comparing to this problem Kosovo issue is nothing. Last weeks we witnnesed the attempt of the Serbian gov. to shift the focus of the population to Preseva valley. This attempt failed and now it is obvious that all those troubles were state organised.
