Here we go again. Promisses of EU. Holland is determined to keep Serbia out so how can anyone raise hopes of EU before the question of Mladic is solved?
I smell elections coming soon and this carrot which served Tadic well in the past is being used again.

"Serbia, both geographically and culturaly is a part of Europe."
Half right, Serbia is located in the european land mass yes, but it is not destined to be absorbed by some neo liberal super state fighting colonial & economic wars no more than it was destined to join 3:rd Reich, Habsburg or the Ottomans. Part of Russia is also "Europe" but that doesn´t make them more "€uropean" (whatever that is) more than Serbs which are their brethren by culture and traditions.

Serbia, both geographically and culturaly is a part of Europe. So, it should become a member of the EU soon enough. It is much more "European" for instance than some countries that have already started negotiations for EU membership, like muslim Turkey which culturally has absolutely nothing to do with Europe or the west.
