Apartments built for Serb returnees

Im bet you they will turn those apartments into cash in no time. Albanians will pay double the rpice and Serbia is waisting money for nothing. where does ut leave the good old taxpayers in all this saga???
Kosova govermant has done the same thing and re-build or build houses for returnees, and they sold them all after short while.

Do these apartments come with NATO security?
How quickly are they going to be turned into a ghetto thanks to Albanians surrounding them?

That depends largely on where these apartments will be located. If it's 5 km from Pristina, I suspect its in the Gracanica enclave, which is working to become a municipality itself. If that is indeed the case, Serbs will stay there only if infrastructure and some form of sustainable economy manifests. If it's conveniently placed close to Pristina itself, I suspect Serbs will indeed sell off the apartments.

Either way, unless you're looking to buy an apartment from them yourself, it's none of your concern what they do with them.

Simple reason, I read about what is happening to the Serbs in Kosovo and am disgusted by what I read.

WE, the NON-serb community is paying harsh VAT taxes to build these homes/apartments from scratch, not you.

Than after they sell em we'll have some uninformed serb camp commenter yelling his head off "the albanians are driving them away" blah blah when in reality these people have ABSOLUTELY NO interest to live in Kosova except to milk the tax-payers and get a flat in Beograd or somewhere WEST.

Let's go back 10 years ago when Serbian police killed many innocent civilians in Kosovo ( of course you will say they were all criminals) I never thought that all Serbs are bad and still don't thing all Serbs are bad.

And one more thing, I never had a happy childhood and happy life until 1999, if you want to know why, simple fact, I had never been free to do anything from Milosevic's regime, but I will never blame all Serbs for that. I am sure there were many Serbs who knew that what Serbian regime did in Kosovo from 1989 'till 1999 was dead wrong and they were against it but they were not able to do anything or maybe were afraid to speak.

Let's go back a little further and see just how the Serbs were harrassed for decades and provoked. You got the response you were hoping for from Milosevic. He went in strong but you were hoping he would as this is exactly what you needed to realize your dream of Greater Albania.

I never said that all Albanians are bad. It's about time you stopped putting words in my mouth. I did say that in some areas Serbs need NATO escorts to go to church or school (school being the most horrible to accept as these are children). I did say that Serbs need NATO protection and they live behind barbed wire. This does not mean that all Albanians are bad but if you wish to interpret it that way go right ahead.

Also one does NOT have to live in Kosovo to know what is happening in Kosovo. How else do you explain all those CNN stories all over the place when most journalists who wrote them were not there but were getting the reports from someone else?

Many people who were these have spoken and written about conditions there so don't give me this rubbish if you don't live there you cannot know how it is. Enough information comes out for the whole world to know (according to who is writing the story). Granted not all is true and there is much propaganda but most of the propaganda has come from the Albanians.

I have read enough and seen enough footage of what is going on in Kosovo to know. So, please don't presume to lecture me on anything. The world is not a big place any more. Everyone gets to know something.
