UNDP publishes Kosovo opinion poll

UNDP has released its latest Fast Facts of the Early Warning Report, presenting it to a news conference in Priština on Thursday.

I would like to know how many people felt they could tell the truth freely without reprisals.

Polls are only good when people feel safe to tell the truth. In Kosovo we just don't know anything.

The opinion poll, conducted among Kosovo's residents in the second half of June, shows that ethnic Albanians complain the most about poverty, while Serbs see deepening of inter-ethnic relations as the main factor that could influence stability, Tanjug reported.

So, if I understand well, more people are now happy to be poor.... what a strange place!

In April, 48 percent of Serbs said they were ready to work with Kosovo's Albanians. This number was down to 29 percent in June.

The Kosovo Albanian indicator on the same subject has gone from 33 to 48 last month.

It is clear who wants equility and cooperation between different nationalities. No more comment.

But compared to April's 38 percent, now 53 percent say they are happy with the work of the government in Priština.

In April, 48 percent of Serbs said they were ready to work with Kosovo's Albanians. This number was down to 29 percent in June.

So things are getting better but Belgrade hates it so it needs to make it look bad.
Sad story but true. Kosovos government has more support in confidence than Serbians.
