Putin wins Turkey's approval of South Stream route

Meeting in Ankara, Russian PM Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have come to agreement over the South Stream pipeline.

Excellent news. once south stream reaches serbia we are russia's strategic territory. so every inch this pipeline gets closer so much the sweeter.

well played Turkey, I bet EU is now a bit furious, not to say more! The construction race will now start but knowing Russia it will not take long until the first holes will be digged. Europe will certainly need a few more bureaucratic years to starting thinking who will digg the first hole!
