CoE's Marty in Priština on Wednesday

We are all aware of the accusations against Serbia over the Balkan wars. We are also aware that Serbia has paid a great penalty over the years, from economic sanctions to bombing civilian targets. Serbia too has acknowledged it's crimes. What hasn't been done yet is on the other side. Albanians have been accused of war crimes not just by Serbs and have not been prosecuted. Bosnian Muslims like Nasir Oric are still free even with ample evidence that he celebrate crimes against Serbs prior to Srebrenica. In Croatia, they celebrate operation storm like it's a national holiday. In the case of the organ affair, it doesn't matter what Serbs said as it was Carla Del Ponte, a person well known for prosecuting Serbs for war crimes. Thus, it was Western judicial officials whom brought this case to light and now it is up to them to investigate it and finally bring either justice for the victims or vindication for the accused.

Unbelievable blind denial by the Kosovo Albanian side of the possibility that there was organ harvesting. And apparently if any of the 'internationals' take this seriously, as they should, it is because they have been fed Belgrade "fairytales".

Why total denial? It seems that even if the tables are slightly turned and the demonised 'aggressors' are seen as being human and also having fallen victim to horrific crimes, there is outrage.

No one side are angels or devils (except a few individuals who certainly should reside with the latter).

PRN- I hear what you saying but wouldn't it be better for the metter to be concluded once and for all. So far it has been proven who has done what during the Balkans war, thus this should be welcomed. Either way this matter needs to be looked at in a transparent way and people do deserve to know if the allegations raised by Belgrade are true or it was a nicely polished stry by Carla to promote her book and earn few penies.

Don't you worry, Mr Marty has already cracked a few harder bone (CIA prisons) so Carla Del Ponte was a piece of cake compared to him.

I amazed how the K-A "camp" gets annoy with anything that could eventually touch their pride irrespective of what triggers their anger. Getting close to the EU family has a price and that includes uncovering the past of your "heroes" and their criminal acts!

I actuelly think that he should be asked to contact Serbian authorities regarding the 2000 missing K-Albanians.
I also think that he should be allowed to investigate whatever he wants just to get over with this thing. I personnaly doubt it that there is anything to find since UN did not find anything but another invstigation is more than welcome.
I feel sorry for people of both sides that have not yet found their loved ones and it is really a shame that perpetrator are still free.

It is more than obvious, of a wide conspiratorial range effort, by either Serbian or foreign factors focused on something that is proved to be not accurate. The goal must be equalization of crime with victims, as a detailed operational phase at this stage, next step will be of course; Albanians to be blamed for anything, especially; for the fact of being existent at all in these areas. I don’t blame Serbian side in here; they are acting exactly in accordance with their expectations. What I do not understand is; what is the interest of the external player in efforts towards inventing imaginary event, like in this case?
What I am sure about is the next: Serbian side is making huge mistakes after the war followed by all kind of atrocities in Balkans. I think that it would have been far better to cope with the reality, apology for the crimes done on anyone’s behalf, and start acting in accordance with the common sense. I'll make it simple for you too, tell me who has been impartial when it comes to the illegal independance of Kosovo? We heard so many times that it is a unique case whereas same arguments could have been applied at so many different regions!!

When the political agenda is there, all the arguments for an illegation action can be found, Irak is the best latest example!

I'm very familiar which Dick Marty' speeches as well as as I was with Carla Del Ponte's.
They have one thing in common, their entire life has been dedicated to attacking drug cartels, prostitution rings, money laudering, human trafficking and both of them risked their life a few times, so only for that they deserve a bit more respect than the K-A posters are given them here.
Unfortunately Del Ponte couldn't finish her job hindered mainly by the US and she loudly claimed it at few occasion before finally throwing the towel.
They also have something else in comon, both of them were holding prosecutors job in Switzerland and faced the same problems when it came to the attitude of our coward swiss politicians and he rightly single out our FM, Calmy Rey who is truly a.....Kuschner type....

When Dick Marty was speaking about Kosovo he came out with strong arguments as to why it was too early and that some other steps should be taken prior and he was 100% right, nothing has been solved at least when it comes to giving the people a sort of min of living standard which was a pre-condition from the Swiss govnt in order to accept it.

Just grow up, learn how to communicate in a decent manner beyond your mountains and work for your province if you are so convinced that you deserve independance, millions of people will certainly then be willing to change their views about K-A!
But firt remove your "heroes", they are only

THAT is a major story....and WHY were the results never published??? This is all part of the EUocrats "grand cover-up" to protect their K-Alb minions at any cost. So now this "investigation" will go on now, ad naseaum, with millions of dollars more being spent, until it's finally deemed "old news" and not important. Who (or what) kept UMNIK from releasing results of this horrendous crime? That's the real story....and I hope that B-92 has the moral fortitude to shed some light on this "missing report".

There is no other side. Majority of the victims from the Serbian army were kids, women and elders. It is naive from the Serbs here talking about the other side when their army killed kids, women and elders.

As for the investigation. I think its a good thing. Lets hope this guy does a good job and investigates thing to the very minute details so that we can have this over once and for all.

The West is against Serbia is one of those conspiracy theories. The other one is Germany and USA destroyed Jugoslavia. Notice how in all these conspiracy theories the Serbs never put any blame on Serbia at all; for all the things they the Serbs did themselves.

Let this investigation start as soon as possible so we can put this conspiracy theory and this orchestrated lie from Belgrade palaces and armchair investigators behind us, once and for all.

It's amazing how the Serbian system turned a story of a memories book (rejected by all Carla Del Ponte's colleagues in some way or another) into an investigation by the Council of Europe. After the tribunal for war crimes in the Hague investigated it, and found nothing. It looks like Serbia made the Council of Europe doubt of the tribunal in the Hague, that is really an achievement.
Albanians politicians should take an example from this feat. I am more concerned about Tirana's reactions, than Pristina's. After all, if, big if, these crimes ever happened, they happened in Albania, not Kosovo, so Albania has jurisdiction over this.

If they are innocent then why demand that no investigation should take place? Any innocent person would jump at a chance to clear his/her name.

This thing about bias because of not being in favour of UDI is ridiculous. This can also be said for people in favour of UDI so eveeryone is biased one way or another. Bottom line my Albanian citizens of Serbia, you are all biased too.
