Kravchenko discusses new goals for NIS

Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) CEO Kiril Kravchenko told B92 that thus far, more than 1,000 employees are interested in leaving the company voluntarily.

"He said that there are about 2,000 unnecessary workers in NIS."

This doesn't sound good. And if that pipeline isn't built and finished within reasonable time, it looks like Serbia may have made a bad deal.
In fact, most of the privatizations seem to be harmful to the Serbian economy.
Perhaps Serbia should hold off longer on them or not do them - or at least not do them before they correct all the ones that went bad.
