Could controversial law topple government?

There are several days left before the voting on the proposed change to the Law on Information, with some saying that the government could collapse if it fails.

It should. It seems all opposition parties are opposed to it as are government members (some oppose others are choosing to abstain from voting).

It seems G-17+ is having some inferiority complex. They only have 1% supprot according to the latest polls and most media are critical of them. I guess they can't take criticism, especially when they are a party prone to blaming others for their failures.

Anyways. The government should collapse if they give into this blackmail from G-17+. The only reason I could see them giving in to this is that they feeel that the people are not supportive of the government and in an election they would lose.
