I'm not so sure getting rid of Saak will suddenly make things better in Georgia. Most Georgians are rightfully angry that parts of their territory have been taken away by foreign powers, so replacing Saak may not change Georgia's policies at all. Ukraine on the other hand is a different story. Last I heard, nearly 70% of the population do not want to join NATO. Aside from the Uniate-strong western regions, Ukraine is not interested in being the tool others use to annoy Russia.

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, with his Stalin style temper, will not help much his little nation.

As long as some Georgians and Ukrainers do not realise that it is in their sole interest to be friendly with their big neighbour and not with the "bully boy far away" they will not be having much of prosperity.

US and their "dirty politics chief" Biden with their visit will help nothing, but destabilize this countries. In this Region, USA will not dare to advance step more than the "big bully talks". Once when politian’s from Georgia and Ukraine decide to get it, it will also start getting better for their countries.

I am no sure at all about the usefullness of Biden's visit. Is it to shore up Saakasvilli's diminishing value to its US masters?Certainly his visit is not about restoring basic democratic rights in Georgia.

Saak is a manufactured US creation from his time at Columbia University where he gained a law degree curtesy of US taxpayers money. He always did what the US told him to do ,included the war in Ossetia.

The problem with US half-baked plans of taking over the Caucasus energy routes is that it was based on very unlikely scenarios. They ordered Saak to attack Ossetia and then everything collapsed when Putin showed some cojones.

Georgia should start talking to Russia again and cultivate relations with its neighbours. The US are only using Georgia to further their own geopolitical interests.
