Well, if it legalizes then it won't be as expensive as it is now, that's for sure. Too bad it's been discovered, these guys, the Albanian and the Serb were on their way to becoming rich. Damn police:) j/k

Just because the Serb owns the land doesn't mean he will be getting anything out of it. Albanian is using this land and most likely WITHOUT the permission of the owner. Just like Albanians have taken Kosovo without permission of the owners this field has also been taken illegally.

Don't presume that the Serb is in any way involved.

Cannabis is quickly becoming the world's number 1 crop. It's already worth $35,000,000,000 of the American market.

It's time to legalize, research, and regulate the crop.

I also agree with legalizing it. California is getting closer, step by step, and it has the potential to balance our budget. 80% of the Californian population is in favor of legalization, and that’s after 15 years of Prop 215. It’s hardly a dangerous drug.

It seemed to me the vast majority of the cannabis in Serbia came from Albania. However, that being said, they need a much better strain (It’s on the level of Mexican “brick” weed). Legalization will allow for much better strains and a better economic value. It would also allow for some people who want to get out of organized crime to go legitimate and live like normal people.

That being said, this appears to be a positive story about the cooperation between Serbs and Albanians.

It was Cannabis Sativa strain.

Legalize it!!!

Cannabis does not cause death. Cigarettes & Alcohol take nearly 500,000 lives a year. Cannabis, zero.

Regulate it, tax it, and research it. It's harder to get cigarettes & alcohol which are regulated, then Cannabis that is prohibited.

The "war on drugs" is a failure. Holland which regulates cannabis has seen lower usage, much lower crime, taxes from the product, and cannabis tourism.
