Dačić: No state of emergency in south

Wow what a surprise? Albanians using violence to get their way? I cant believe!!! Actually I can believe, they accomplished their mission in Kosovo by using violence and the International community bowed to their threats, so hey why not try it in Presevo. Pathetic!!!

I'm absolutely sure that some Western architects of the Balkans' wars are involved in this situation, which is designed to destabilize the situation in Serbian South and instigate another conflict. We have already seen such scenario and it worries.
What must be done? From our previous experience we know that Serbia mustn't surrender to ANY claims, must be tough and must pay more attention to media coverage and provide enough detailed information. Whatever happens, Serbia must be decisive, but watchful.

Kosovo Albanians saw their opportunity to gain independence by pretending they are victims under Miloshevic's regime. I just wonder what has happened in 1981? What did you want every spring since 1981? Republic? When did Miloshevic came to power? 1987 if I remember right. The way how you got it, was by paying politicians in USA to fight your cause. And I wonder where the money was coming from? I am ashamed of my government (British) and injustice done to proud Serbian people.

Western intervention is looming.

The West knows pretty well when there is a need to intervene when Serb factor is implicated.

(They did so in Bosnia and Kosovo)

Time for Presevo Valley to get the famous Serbian offer more than autonomy, less than independence, if the latter offer work, referendum on indpendence will solve it.

Everyone wants to get rid of Serbs so this is the ultimate solution.

Richard, those were the tactics that Milosevic used and look where that got Serbia!

Being more patient and tolerant with the general albanian population in the Presevo region so that they feel integrated and accepted in the country, while at the same time trying to isolate the extremist elements, would be much more successful strategy.

Thats why I believe that using serious force against the extermist serbs in the North of Mitrovica who attack UN and Kosovan institutions, will not achieve anything, in the same way that Serbia failed many times over her attempts to force kosovan albanians to accept state of Serbia.

Let me put it to you that the current inflaming of the situation in Presheva, Bujanoc and Medvegje is part of the Serbian government's plan to provoke Albanians ahead of the ICJ verdict. Serbia is playing a dangerous game here. It is trying to compensate for its losses in the north where its system of government is being dismantled by EULEX and the Kosova government. Belgrade is playing on two fronts and time will tell if it will outsmart the west. It's track record so far has not been very optimistic.

Olf, actually one albanian who was transporting guns was arrested and guns was confiscated. Who could do that terrorist attack in south central Serbia. Maybe all that was secret plan of Serbs to kill themselves first and then to accuse poor, innocent Albanians. So much about your tolerance and democratic spirit. Have you heard for liberation army of Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja?
