no my dears,no need to have our police involved in that:we do buy arms every day from serbs in serbia proper or in bosnia;and we freely bring them across serbiaproper, not kosovo!

Per your comment, all albanians are terrorists, right!
I don't know how could still call albanians so, as the whole World knows what Serbia did to albanians from 1989 - 1999, or if we go back to 1940's...
(Shqiponja, 16 July 2009 18:13) The CIA up untill 1998 branded the kla a terrorist organization.Unfortunately after 1998 they changed their minds because they realized they could use them like they did the taliban to do their dirty work.GOD bless Serbia and our holy church!

@Adam

You've taken my comment out of context and twisted it to your satisafaction. Why I am I not surprised.

You should read rebels post and you will understand where I'm coming from on that.

As for the alleged KPS link to arms smuggling, this wouldn't evan be the first time so don't wrap yourself in the innocent until proven guilty rhetoric.

@Nicholas Klinsman who says "I suggest you go to another forum for your posts, since this is a Serb run site..."

actually nicholas, despite this being as you call it, a "serb run site" and you term dissenting voices as pro-albanian. it is in fact a news and journalism organization. One would think that very fact alone would invite discussion and dissenting views.

How very interesting to see you inadvertently "confirm" that is not the case, that you feel this is a forum to advocate a serb agenda rather than...you know. Provide legitimate News.

That serb police apparently have footage, and suspicions, and facts, and an ongoing investigation... to wich they have NOT acted on or made arrests... feel free to blabber about it publicly effectively warning these "real" criminals that the jig is up. is a very dumb thing for police to do, and makes no sense at all. Unless of course it has no basis in reality and a press headline is the goal.

Is this truly suprising to many people?
A lot of emotions seemed to be worked up about this information, but I don't find it to be surprising at all.
Was I the only one that thought it was merely a matter of time before a news article was published concerning the illicit/illegal activites of members of the KPS?

I don't find this indicative of "terrorism" but merely a fact of reality of the Balkans where government corruption and organized crime has been a historic problem.

It's true or not, that lot of KPS members were members of US Departament of State described terrorist organization "UCK"??

P.S. I don't described "all" Albanians as "terrorists" - but only members (ex-members) of terrorist organization.

Six postings, counting, on one THread from one person! including their threatening of other posters! some people have WAY too much time on their hands... (6 postings by one person, counting, on ONE thread!)

anyway, sorry, here is the deal about the south of serbia: i am against violence and terror. there have to be better ways, unless every single possible other means has been tried, which it has not. especially when it comes to your own citizens. otherwise it is a pure copy of the 90s in the balkans -- do people really want that?

so i think the serbian authorities need to sit down with people/officials in this area, try to figure out what is going on (if it isn't already obvious,) and strategize some solutions to defuse the tensions. we might all have suggestions but the main need is to talk, and with respect, not like in the past. if intrnl moderators would help, bring em in. if you don't trust ours, try french, or british, or whichever as long as they are not overly prejudiced. try it -- it is one task that democratic countries need to undertake, hard as it is.

as to this "That's why we hate the Serbs..." i really do not find this useful, not the talk, not the idea. i have fought against racism and anti-Semitism, and various forms of bigotry, for most of my life. not perfectly perhaps, but i've tried my best. as have many of my frnds. i fully understand why people in kosovo will never accept rule from belgrade again -- i support that position and have argued for it, at least for the last decade. loudly and clearly.

but to hate a whole people is wrong, is counter-productive, and frankly racist.

also, i do not believe that the hateful comments here (esp on the english side) reflect the feeling of ALL serbs. i know many who passionately disagree with these super-nationalist views, and all of the ugly anti-albanian rhetoric. i used to ask, plead on a regular basis to hear more from "dissident" serbs, but it just doesn't happen often. i have my own views as to why, but not for now.

with my very good (alb) frnd from podujevo, i've gone out of my way to have him meet frndly serb people, dissidents, intellectuals, human rights people, etc. they are not so hard to find. it isn't just 2 or 3. i wish that people who feel they have to "hate" a whole people actively seek out such persons, for ex. from youth initiative, helsinki committee, and many more.

hate can be overcome, but you have to want to make it happen. we work hard with our students, and sometimes it actually seems to make a difference. in the long run, who knows, but i will never stop trying. and pls, i am not naive, i just try to stay optimistic.

thank you.

(Olf, 16 July 2009 10:23)

Never seen a barter deal?
I am short of newer HDD-s but have a lot of good older ones and many (S)ATA controllers. Some people I know have newer HDD-s but no SATA controllers. If work does require, there is always a room to barter.

At this moment taking HDD-s and controllers through borders and administrative lines is not considered immoral or illegal.

Like for us HDD, for others bazooka or AK-47 is just merely a commodity they need for their daily (hard) work.
Everyone has own priorities and problems.

Nothing more hurts serbian image than posts of most serbs posting in here.
Yesterday, many commented on the blast in Preshevo, and their comment are not any better than the ones from Milosevic regime. What means, that no matter what happens Serbs are going to acuse the Albanians in the name of fighting the terrorists. Havent you all gone through this 10 years ago for gods sake.

@Rebel: If you hate Serbs, I suggest you go to another forum for your posts, since this is a Serb run site. Maybe if you stay away from these discussions it will clear up your anger issues.

Overall, I'm not understanding of many of the pro Albanian posts here. Everytime a hate crime is committed against Serbs you tell us to let the process carry thru, which so far has yielded no convictions. None for the Podujevo bus massacre, the massacre of the 14 Lipljan farmers, the teenagers shot swimming in the river by Pec, nor countless other crimes against Serbs.

On the other hand, Serbs have turned over to the Hague a number of high ranking officials and actually convicted a # of people who carried out crimes against Albanians.

If you want war criminals and crime lords from the KLA run your people than that's your problem, Serbia is moving forward.

Don't be upset because our police is trying to do its job and don't jump on Serbs cases just becuase we don't want people to get away with planting bombs or shooting at police.

Poor Dacic, he thinks KPS works like Serbian police did in Slobo's time. "Organ trading," "smuggling" and other lies. Why?

Small secret: Serbia still HAS to cooperate with KPS, not EULEX if they want to get visas, it's not a done deal yet. Serbia was told that EULEX is only advisory and KPS does the work so in addition to making it virtually impossible for K-Serbs and B-Serbs to get passports, patrol the Kosova border, Serbia must also cooperate with KPS directly, aka recognize Kosova indirectly.

So, take it all in context, not that anyone believes a word of Serbian officials. Too many you know what...

Everybody is wrong. It is Milosevic himself who has risen from the grave to organize and execute this so some can call it the usual propaganda and claim that many are complete desillusional. It is interesting how some commentators are still in complete denial and of course KFOR and EULEX must know about this (and allow it) unless they are sleeping. Collect evidence, deal with the problem, and show it in their faces and watch how they respond.

Nicholas Klinsman
