Some day someone might, for example, explain to me what exactly they want to get back from Kosovo.
(european, 16 July 2009 08:47)

What I want back from Kosmet are our beautifull holy churches and monasteries that are the birthplace of our nation and soul.I want for my Serbian people to be able to go home and work and live in peace.I want the land back that is soaked with Serbian blood.

Serbia may not be utopia but it is much closer than any other balkan country especially if other countries would leave us alone. In Croatia they still celebrate nazism and their most popular singer praises ustashe crimes at Jasenovac. In muslim Bosna the islamic fundamentalists are pushing sharia law and islam so vehemently that Croatians are fleeing to RS.IN Kosmet what needs to be said.In slovenia,WHO CARES.God bless my nation Serbia and my holy Orthodox church!

european,

I would certainly agree that Serbia is by no means a utopian state, and that it has been making great strides but still has a long way to go.
With regards to Serbia's wants from Kosovo: It would seem that Serbia simply wants to maintain territorial ownership of the land as far as a state is concerned. Individuals living on that land have and are accepted (as is seem throughout the rest of the country) regardless of their background, so long as they obey, follow and practices the rules and laws of the land. This is exactly the same thing any other country in the world asks of its citizens.

My point was that those civilians were the family of Albanian-Serb policeman. There was such an outpouring of hate of Albanians as the "others" who undermine Serbia's greatness that I thought it should be mentioned.
Serbia is generally a free society and with all necessary legal protections for minorities. It is not a nice country to be Albanian in, however, or gay, or a human rights activist...

I say that because I love Serbia. I love Serbia enough to wish that it would look at the log in its eye rather than shouting about splinters in everybody else's eyes.

Some day someone might, for example, explain to me what exactly they want to get back from Kosovo.

To european-To a terrorist who wants to stir the trouble does not matter what religeon or nationality you are. Look at the Irak and Afghanistan. They are killing their own because of their idea of justice. So what is the point of your question?

infact in the threads of the previous articles about this topic it was commented that the victims were Albanias.

Not sure what the point of that is.
The bomb was placed infront of the police's living spaces. It just so happened that in the free society of Serbia within its Presevo region non-Serbs are allowed to freely walk down the streets, in so much as being allowed to walk infront of the building where Serbian police live.
One does not place a bomb infront of Jimmy's house hoping that Bobby will walk by and "then we've got him". Typically one places a bomb at Jimmy's house with the intent of "getting" Jimmy. If Bobby happens to walk by and take the blast, he happens to be collateral damage in the perpetrator's eyes.

This is a very tragic incident for those free minorities that were blasted by some mindless, senseless act of violence.

It must fall upon the shoulders of everyone to root out this cowardly evil person(s) and punish them will all the might the law has.

So, it's even worse (in response to the second comment), Albanian terrorists are killing fellow Albanians. When one has the philosophy that the ends justify the means, it doesn't matter whether the victims are Serbian or Albanian. Disgusting!

Strangely, these terrorist incidents may help Serbia's position in the ICJ more than it would help the Kosovo Albanian authorities. Here is Kosovo all over again, and this time there is a strong internet that will allow the world to witness everything. Imagine being asked to rule on a situation where the Albanian representatives will claim that Serbs provoked them from the start. In turn, the Serbs will say the KLA was attacking our police and we were merely responding. To that, the Kosovo side will say nonsense, where's the evidence? To that Serbia will respond, take a look at the current situation in Presevo. I'm sure Clark and Albright and other goons are on the phone with Pristina now telling them to reign in their Presevo pals so as not to spoil the ICJ ruling.
