well, by using words like "irreversible" he wants to make naive people think that the EU is the one and only holy grail for all of us...

but that is of course only nonsense, and let me emphasize it: nothing is irreversible, especially not the "road to EU-accession"...

so much for fresh propaganda in B92...

Stop double standards!
Stop delaying decisions...
10 years are enough to have a policy,if you still do not have a common stance on kosovo and balkans ,that tells european capacities...And it's really not a succes!

Well, to the man's credit he seemed more "inspired" while campaigning against NATO membership during early eighties thought,

Some posters description of Solana being "tiresome" are certainly accurate, he does not compromise and if he does you know he might be
"pragmatic" enough to change his mind.

"I hope the Serbian citizens will soon enjoy some palpable results."

That makes two of us. Except the roadmap is still too hazy for me at this point as far as politics go. Moreover, the double talk from the EUcrats is getting very frustrating.

Despite this frustration, Serbs should keep up the hard work on the economic infrastructure and cultural exchange of know how from western countries. That naturally comes before political clout. Once, the economics are in place the political obstacles will be nothing.

They never get tired, do they?

Every day a new sugar coated poison carrot about rewarding Serbias regime for it´s obedience. Especially from Javier "Dr, Strangelove" Solana. One day as a general in the western aggression-pact NATO, rape Serbia with depleted uranium and the other as "a man of peace" telling his victims not to give up "their" hopes to join and share colonial wars mass poverty and unemployment with €U....

Solana is a pragmatist, so what he says should be digested carefully. Bosnia can only move forward when each side stops the Nationalist rethoric, starts to have a joint educational system without religious interference.I know that in the Federation Muslims and Croats attend different classes and do not mix at all this only leads to separation and mistrust, don,t forget a child learns from parental predjudice. We as a people have only one future and that is together.

Well, for the God sake...is there a bigger EU-Brussels technocrat and bureaucrat from Solana?
It is a waste of time following his interviews: everything is complex, long, difficult, reversible or irreversible...In his case even "reading between the lines" does not help.
Solana does not have anything significant to say to Serbia now…he is a member of old and “just leaving the office “group of EU Commissionaires.
Thanks God.Lets hope for better.
