Dear UNE, as a former soldier in the balkans, let me remind you without a shadow of doubt. If you Muslims want peace, i suggest you pull up your socks, look at yourself in the mirror and have the same respect for 4000+ serbs wh were murdered by the command of Naser oric. You're no better so please shut up!

The blogs on this article prove one thing, speculation, you have no idea what went on and all the witnesses to events were supressed, however it is possible to read about the real events.

If Serbs are murderers, you muslims were far worse with sunni arab sidekicks.

To all serbs, I would apologies when hey too apologise. Bosnians muslims waited for the men, women and children to fall asleep and then they attacked, raped kidnapped for further beatings.

Tadic once again proves he's an american puppet. Serbia wake up and realise who your friends!

"...there is no such thing as a nation's collective guilt'
My question to Mr. Tadic: "Do you apply this only to the Serbian side?..."
Answer: And my question to you is: does the Dutch use "Serbian collective guilt" to cover their human, moral, diplomatic and military collapse in Srebrenica till the present day and 14 years later?

"...Isn't it the daily use by the Serbian government and media to inform the people about WWII or the Balkan wars in terms of the 'Crimes of the Germans, Croatians, Bosniaks, Kosovo Albanians'? Recent Serbian publications after 1985 are full with this 'generalizations'.
Answer: for the difference from Dutch, who waited for people from another continents, namely Canadians, to come and to liberate them and you from the Nazis, Serbs bleed more then 1 Million lives and were almost demographically deleted in order to fight 20th century Germanic "collective madness". So history for us is not "generalization", but painful and heroic reminder we have to recall and remember. Hope you may be able to get perspective now.

Answer: In The Netherlands and now, under the umbrella of “vreiheid of meningsuiting” or “freedom of opinion”, Dutch nationalist Wilders is willing to destroy mosques and expels Muslims from The Netherlands with support of about 20% of Dutch population following last independent reserach, so kindly let us exercise our young democratic freedom. Myself being sharing your country information flow I can easily claim that Serbian media and freedom of information is clearly superior, more vibrant and more versatile then Dutch.

Unfortunately (but not surprisingly), people are already making this into a political issue to score bragging points.

I only wish other ex-YU countries were as eager to examine their "glorious" past as Serbia. Yes, Serbia probably wouldn't have been this open under Kostunica as under Tadic, but I'm still disappointed that Croatia continues to refuse to examine its NDH past in an objective way. Moreover, Albanian historical memory continues to glorify war criminals and gangsters the way Serbian historical memory in the 1990s glorified Arkan, Knele, and Mladic. The point here is not to say that one side is any better or worse than the other. Enough evidence can be pointed to all sides in both the 1990s and the 1940s for crimes against humanity. But because there is more international pressure to commemorate (some would even say politicize) the "genocide" at Srebrenica over the "genocide" at Jasenovac, or to remember the treachery of 1999 over the treachery of 2004, the general consensus that Serbs are the "bad guys" continues to hold sway. What makes this bad is that one side is forced to atone for its evils while the other side(s) literally get away with murder.

Saying "all sides are guilty" is not diminishing one's own guilt. It's attempting to be objective.
