What is Montenegro's intention? Are they just trying to be less Serbian. I guess the US and EU are making more demands. Let the selling continue!

Amen to the govt and progressive politicians of Montenegro. why am i not surprised by the above comments? while serb nationalists remain stuck in the worst of the past, montenegro has attempted to learn from its past, which is utterly vital for its future.

yes i am well aware of war crimes perpetrated by montenegro against croat and bosniak civilians during the wars of the 90s. there is much work to be done on trying to right these evils, as much as one ever can. but this is an impt symbolic step in the right direction, one entirely missing fr the blg regime. thank you.

Michael Thomas, I agree with all your comments. At least it is reasonable to call the events around Srebrenica war crimes (the executions of prisoners, not soldiers killed in combat), but it has been and is completely out of line to have called them genocide (in that case most of the Bosnian Muslims, men and women should have been killed, which did not happen). Sebrenica could have been prevented if the Dutch UN soldiers would have the guts and the approval from the UN and the West to confront the Bosnian Muslim troops in and around Sebrenica to stop attacking Serbian villages and killing numerous civilians. Of course it is a tragedy for all whose lost loved ones or have loved ones that are still missing (on all sides).

Michael,
You will never hear the truth or real facts from NATO and their imperialist minions, because the truth is on the Serbian side.
The whole purpose of that anti-Serb political kangaroo court, The Hague, is to weaken Serbia so that they will lie down and act like good servants for the Germans/Americans/Brits (like all of Serbia's neighbours have already done - history does repeat itself again) so that they can keep their high standard of living while keeping all of eastern Europe down and under their control. Free and independent Serbia is the only thing in their way. Like I have said many times, we are like a bone in their throat, and let's keep it there!
Cheers!!

This is the sort of things governments waste time doing? Who pays them while they are wasting my time, your time, their time, and the country's time. Thank god we have news sources like B92 that can just perpetuate us thinking that what the government does is a big deal and really important.

Before the Montenegrin government adopts any resolutions on events in and around Srebrenica in July 1995 it should demand that the UN, the EU, the USA and the Bosnian Moslems provide some basic information.

For example, why did Bosnian Moslem forces surrender Srebrenica without a fight? The Bosnian Serbian Army sent a single tank and a handful of soldiers to take control of a small road several miles from Srebrenica town. I fail to see how this trivial military manoeuvre could force 15,000 armed Moslems to leave their wives and children and flee to Tuzla, and yet that is what we are told to believe.

All the Moslems who remained in Srebrenica and nearby Potočari were transported safely to Sarajevo, Tuzla and other Moslem-controlled areas. The issue of Srebrenica is what happened to the 15,000 Moslem soldiers who fled the town and broke through Bosnian Serbian lines to reach Tuzla.

According to testimony from Bosnian Serbian Army Officers, which was given at the Hague Tribunal, the Bosnian Serbian Army lost over 600 men in battles with these 15,000 armed Moslems. How many Moslems were killed in battles with the Bosnian Serbian Army? This is important, because solders killed in battle are not usually classed as victims of “Genocide.” How many Moslem solders arrived safely in Tuzla and other Moslem towns? These are important questions, but no one in the West seems to want to investigate. We have been given the “Official” story and we are meant to accept it. I want facts, and if we haven’t been given them for the past 14 years, then I suspect there is a reason for that.
