Its very simple the very GOAL of Serbia is to prevent that because that is fighting so Kosova don't be as a UN member ....But hey all that is already proved and sign sealed if not this year or next 100 years that it will happen every crime what is done it will be open to prosecuted so CASE IT WILL BE OPEN TILL JUSTICE IS DONE..

"However, we never hear albanians condem the killing of Serbian children. Why is that?
(Michael, 9 July 2009 18:30)

Because,we never killed children.
(ardi, 10 July 2009 09:17) "

Is a silly statement to make. 'Monsters' are not unique to any one society or ethnic group.

Can think of 2 instances off-hand which were most probably committed by K-albanians:

1: Automatic fire on a bunch of serb kids swimming in the Bistrica back in 2003 by someone resulted in the deaths of 2 & serious injury to 5 more.

2: Bombing of that bus convoy packed with serb women & kids back in 2001 killing 11 - 4 of whom were women & including a 2 year old child.

"Perhaps because there haven't been any Albanians charged with killing children?

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I personally don't remember seeing anything about it.
(Amer, 10 July 2009 02:31) "

K-albanian was charged with the bombing but was released for 'lack of sufficient evidence - as you probably now recall.

Does happen. Has happened. Just that normal people don't like to be reminded that 'one of their own' could possibly be responsible for such an outrage.

But personally sincerely doubt that either faction has deliberately targetted kids.

There is no evidence to suggest that Serbia feels sorry for crimes committed against the Albanian population, except to the extent of publicity and outrage generated by such crimes.

How can Serbs live in Kosovo with these people and that behaviour? It can't happen. They use all negative news about Serbs to justify stealing our territory. They know albanians killed Serbs but they don't care.

MikeC

What happend to the propaganda machine Albanians used to call B92? You see how Serbs deal with warcrimes. Albanians should learn something from this. Until the day that Albanians start arresting and putting away their own killers, instead of electing them for office, can there be peace.
Besides this does not justify independence. In that case Serbia should have expelled every singel Albanian after WW2.

"From 1941 to 1944, ethnic Albanians serving the Italian and German occupation authorities killed some 10,000 Serbs; the worst of suffer were Serbs in Pec and Vitomirica where ethnic Albanian volunteers formations wrought terror: before executing their victims they gouged out their eyes, sliced off their ears and severed other parts of their bodies. Dozens of Orthodox churches were destroyed, set afire and looted, priests and monks were arrested and killed and many Orthodox cemeteries desecrated."

This is not about me, but about Berisha family. It was clearly said: "most if not all Serbian sympatisers here feel sorry, there is no capital punishment in Hague for such crimes."

I think, you are aware: in many cases during any civil war the "ethnic" or "political" reasons are merely an excuse to proceed with lowly animal instincts (rape) or criminal self-enrichment.

I am not fan of capital punishment, but sometimes I am not so sure. In this case I am very sorry that the prisons in Hague are way to luxury place to spend 20-30 years.

I think, this is good enough. If that's "defending" for you, I don't know, what is else. Capital punishment is not my favorite, sorry. GULAG would be a better place than a luxury prison.

Extremely shameful and I agree with Ataman here 100%. Velibor is a true Serbian hero for bringing what happened to light and to B92 for reporting on it.

Now if only members of the Albanian population could come forward with information about crimes committed against the Serbian people without fear of death or persecution, the reconciliation process might begin…

`Death and life are in the power of the tongue' (Proverbs 18:21)... and the very same people, who govern Serbia today, chose silence when death and killings were committed on their name!

The famous Russian writer Nadezhda Mandelstam says: “I decided to scream...Silence is the real crime against humanity”. And....Serbs still want to return their security forces into the province. The Serbian officials are aware that the only way they will take control over Kosovo is through an armed conflict, otherwise you can negotiate for a thousand years and Kosovars will never agree to give up their sovranity! Forget confederation; forget some loose union of two states it will never happen because Kosovars simply don’t trust the Serbs.

It makes me sad to admit it but in the end we will have another war maybe not in the near future but definitely within fifty years. On this website I don’t see Serbs expressing remorse for their horrible deeds, contrary I see bitterness in them for loosing the war and a definite impression that should Serbs get another chance they will do exactly what they did in the past but this time it will be a thousand times worst. This is why US and European nations granted Kosovo independence.

Could happen, the criminals got lucky with Hague - in Serbia their property would be confiscated and they could get a longer sentence. Reminds me of a recent case when a criminal run away from Croatian courts - and got in Serbia 8 years more than what he would get in Croatia.

I think, most if not all Serbian sympatisers here feel sorry, there is no capital punishment in Hague for such crimes.

But we have to see the malicious intent behind the comments like #1 and #2. No need to argue or defend anything, just tell them, we see through the malicious intent, it did not land and they do a big disservice for their own.

Thanks for considering it and shame on eTrollers who try to use such a sad event and victims of savage civil war to own little agenda.

'"However, we never hear albanians condem the killing of Serbian children. Why is that?"
Michael '

Perhaps because there haven't been any Albanians charged with killing children?

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I personally don't remember seeing anything about it.
