German Defense Minister Franz Josef Jung says that a decision on closing the EU peacekeeping mission to Bosnia is likely to be taken by the end of the year.

Maybe they don't want to throw any more good money after bad.

I too wonder how much this has cost the west but it seems that the worst price paid was by the people of former Yugoslavia.

In other words: it is more important, what happens with Opel at this moment than with some country-building "projects" outside of Germany.

At the end, it would be interesting to know the total cost of these failed experiments.
