Then go back to Albania. Kosovo is Serbian territory.

You quote Berisha family as your reason you want nothing to do with Serbs. Serbs can quote many, many families and horrible crimes your lot did to them so let's not start with it for you will certainly not be able to win here.

You only see crimes against some of yours, but how about crimes against the Serbs? It's ok to hunt Serbs for sport or profit?
(Peggy, 10 July 2009 03:13)

I guess there are a lot of territories that Serbs claim, but they are not Serbian territories just because you are convinced they are.....

Serbia has never "owned" Kosovo without any dispute and controversy. Apparently you didn't even want to live there, or made any effort to.

In any case, I can quote you many families slaughtered as well as mass graves found all the way to Belgrade, and while I am seeking justice in Hague Tribunal you have yet to prove your case against the Albanians in front of that court. But of course you use your usual shortcut and denounce it as anti-serbian.

We all know how fair Serbian justice can be to Albanians, go to Hague if you have anything, but all you got is self-convictions and you need a little bit more than that.

"“It is hard to build a house or give keys to someone who will not accept them for purely political reasons,” Sejdiu lamented"

FatMan Sej needs to get out of the Pristina bubble and travel just 5 km to Gracanica to see how things "political" are. It won't cost him much. Maybe 100 dinar on the bus. He can afford it. My country pays his salary. Serbs have no problem living in Kosovo provided two things are guaranteed:

1. There's something worth living in Kosovo for (primary reason).

2. Serbs are not subjected to Albanian rule (I reference my generator story again).

It's as simple as that. As for a man as simple as Sejdiu, it's surprising he can't (or just plain won't) see it.

I guess your parents didn't tell you what they did to Serbs in the past?

"Forced migration is believed to have encompassed some 100,000 Serbs from Kosovo and Metohia. From 1941 to 1944, ethnic Albanians serving the Italian and German occupation authorities killed some 10,000 Serbs; the worst of suffer were Serbs in Pec and Vitomirica where ethnic Albanian volunteers formations wrought terror: before executing their victims they gouged out their eyes, sliced off their ears and severed other parts of their bodies."

Not much different from what is happening today to Serbs in Kosovo.

People are not returning because they can't trust the Albanians that have run murder and rape and program of ethnic cleansing since the 1980's. Kosovo is the most ethnically pure than it has ever been in history...it isn't by accident. Sejdu needs to take responsibility.

@ G.G. It is odd how always with fanfare Kosova Government calls on Serbs to return in their homes, however very little to none is done for displaced Albanians to return, they even go through hell just to be registered as Kosova citizens.
It is unlawful to occupy someone’s property without authorized and willful permission from the owner. We all agree on that, and Kosova government is expulsing illegal occupants, certainly there is still a lot to do. You seem well informed about the situation and probably you also heard that the same property was sold to two times by Serb owner and that is why the quarrel between Albanian buyers escalated in deaths. As for the unwritten law part, I can tell you 100% that it is not true. However in the same note you are well aware that officially Serbia govt. is subvention Serbian buyers who are willing to buy Albanian properties well above the market price

It is NOT for political reasons but for SAFETY reasons. If Serbian graves cannot stay intact what hope do the living have?

You should do something about your lynch mob first and then you can talk about Serbs returning. When they are so traumatized before they leave, how do you expect them to return especially when they see that your people destroy even the graves.

Stop with your lies. Nobody belives you. You can talk all you want but actions of your lynch mob speak a lot louder than your words.

And it's so much easier to blame Serbs and Belgrade for your government inadequacies....which I'm sure will continue.

3 reasons for non return of serbs as observed during my tour of duty in kosovo. 1) BURNED SERBIAN houses RE-built with poor quality 2) no chance to find work IN PRIVATE or govt 3) no freedom of movement as fear and apprehension are still in albanian and serbian minds. they dont mix up easily like oil and water.

Downtown the city of Uroševac (alb. Ferizaj), below the cinema are three yards which belong to Serbs. They are occupied by Albanian families. Of course it is irrational to ask those Serbs to return. There is neither security nor any perspective for them. Serbs in that town -symptomatic for other cities too is denied to sell their homes, because those who live there do dictate a price far below the market price. Those who have interest in buying are beeing warned not to interfere, there was also cases of murder among Albanians for Serb yards, right in Uroševac (to Albanians here: House next to Pazar- A man shot an other who was working as a barber there). Serb houses in Kosovo are beeing traded far below those of Albanians.
It is obvious there will be no Serbs living among Albanians in Kosovo and there will be no return of Kosovo to Serbia, therefore it is the best and only solution to partitionate Kosovo. The sooner the better.

to B92 please don't publish this part:
You can check and I can proove all my assertion. I have an K-albanian background, we've sold our home there. A Serbs yard, bigger and better locaton is beeing offered much less. It is an unwritten law among K-Albanians to not offer Serbs as much as Albanians.

Great freedom only on paper and we all know it. You Albanians can maybe fool the uknown reader in France or some other country but not us who know the reality of Kosovo. Negotiate or you will never have peace.

People are not returning because they can't trust the Albanians that have run murder and rape and program of ethnic cleansing since the 1980's. Kosovo is the most ethnically pure than it has ever been in history...it isn't by accident. Sejdu needs to take responsibility.

So...thanks, but no thanks. You leave first.

They (serbs) are right to do so, they should NOT return. Not after what Serbia did in Kosovo, not after the mass graves, pizza shop massacres, and complete destruction.

Go read how your gov exterminated an entire family (Berisha family) in a single hour, including women, and children. Fresh news of today.

And you want to come back as if nothing happened? No thanks, everyone separate from now on. I want nothing to do with you.

Here we go again! To Albanians it's always someone elses fault. Take some responsibility for Gods sake!

"...forgivenes from Albanians and other nations in the Balkans, and to join the prosperous movements in the region."

Ha ha ha! Prosperous region! Kosovo! Albania! Bosnian federation! Macedonia! Thanks but no thanks! Albanians try to steal Serbian territory, murder Serbs and burn their churches and you expect Serbs to ask Albanians for forgiveness?
I'm going to tell you a little secret: That will never ever happen.

Not much different from what is happening today to Serbs in Kosovo.

sejdiu is a master of misplaced accountabilities. thats a funny thing to say.
its not my fault my house is a mess, its my neighbour's fault.
'my "country" cannot be held accountable because its citizens are afraid to come back. the cleansing we did a few years back is all in the past, forget the past. my neighbouring country is housing my refugees and has been since i took power and its solely and exclusively their fault'
nice leadership...

This is ridiculous, this guy should just keep his mouth shut. All I hear is blame Belgrade, blame Belgrade, blah, blah, blah. Milosevic and crew are long gone, you have nobody to blame, but yourselves, it's obvious the ethnic Albanians DO NOT play well with others!!!
