Striking workers block municipal seat

Workers from two privatized companies in the town of Kuršumlija this Monday blocked the building housing the municipal administration.

Many of the privatizations of the last several years have been criminal - with the way they put the workers out of a job, shut down the manufacturing, sell off all the equipment and leave the former plant just a warehouse or vacancy. And to top it off they end up not honoring their agreements of paying off the workers or investing in the enterprise they bought.
The current government has been seriously harming Serbia's economy for years, yet the Serbs keep voting them back in. Not smart.
