While I have my disagreements with both Ljajic and Ugljanin, I am happy they have enough common sense and the interest of bot Sandzak and the rest of Serbia in mind by not supporting this declaration made by the pro-Sarajevo members of the Islamic Community in Serbia.

There is a place for Muslims in Serbia's society. And I do agree with one thing in the deceleration, it is time for officials in Belgrade to start paying more attention to other regions in Serbia other than Belgrade and Vojvodina. Areas in south-Central Serbia, the Sandzak region and Serbian majority municipalities in Kosovo need to be developed to be on par with the development going on in Vojvodina. While most would argue that itself is a reason for heavy decentralization, I for one think if the government just focused more of its attention to places south of Belgrade, then there wouldn't be all this fuss and Serbia could finally move forward.
