Mladic's arrest warrant is issued by an international court just like the interpol said is the arena what these war crimes should be held. It is not issued by any state.
It is Serbia's own fault that no one is able to take their justice system seriously.

So, in other words, if Mladic is found in Russia he cannot be sent anywhere near any court because Serbia is not issuing a warrant for him. If anyone arrests him, he will have to be set free just like Ceku was.

Perhaps they will then get a warrant from Bosnia as he is a Bosnian citizen, but then this voids the Dutch claim that Serbia can be kept out of EU until he is caught. Serbia has nothing to do with him in that case.

So which one are they going to go with I wonder.

Finally even Interpol had enough of Serbia's political games. They are sending a clear message " enough of those baseless warrants".

Can't Serbia just quit the Interpol organization if it ignores murder and crimes against Serbs?
What good is it for Serbs and why should they work for it (which they do if they are a part of it) while receiving no justice for Serbs?

It is obviously a waste of time and money for Serbia. It is politically and ethnically biased.

There is a political motive behind this. The world has been lied to for so long to think the Serbs are to blame for all evils in the Balkans. Now, when finally muslims are faced with warcrimes, it has to be hidden. Serbia has charged fellow Serbs so their motif should not be questioned. Why didn't Interpol rescind the arrest warrants Serbia has issued for Serbs? Serbia should stop any cooperation with this organization. Two can play this game.

Finally somebody is taking action against ridiculus warrants coming from Sebia,Kosovo should do the same as soon as possible to put and end to these phony warrants isued every time that somebody in Serbia feel to do so based only in nationalistic ideals and discrimination towards another ethnicity.

This is unbelievable in the extreme. Will we read next that Serbia can tell the Hague that it is declaring the extradition warrant for Mladic null and void because she disagrees with it? How is this fair and just? Serbia, surely, has the right to ask for the arrest of people alleged to have committed war crimes against her people in just the same way as she has arrected and extradited 95% of her own alleged war criminals. I keep saying it and I will keep saying it, there really has to be a fair and balanced approach to this whole subject of alleged war criminals. No matter what country or who their victims or even how many victims...all should stand trial. It is a very simple concept and I am amazed at how the West is just standing by and letting that concept be trampled under foot.

If Serbia had a patriotic government (i.e. one that cared more for its citizens than it did for the USA or EU) then it would send its Special Forces to apprehend those who murdered Serbian citizens and drag them to Serbia for trial.

It is not just Slovenes, Croats, Bosnian Moslems and Albanians, who should be targeted, but also Americans, Britons, Germans and others who worked individually and in concert to murder Serbs and destroy Serbia.

With Serbia's Parliament filled with opportunist, those who have murdered Serbs and plundered their towns and villages have nothing to fear.

I think all this is coming down to Agim Ceku's arrest and finally Head of Interpol relised that Serbian warrants are based on fiction rather then the truth and/or actual fact of so called war crimes.

sooner or later these criminals will get what they deserve.

I am especially looking forward to see Divijak behind bars.

he is simply a shame for his family.

"...only the international court and the state whose nationals had been accused of war crimes would be able to issue red Interpol warrants, while third countries could only do so with the permission of the suspect’s own country..."

Well I have never heard something sucha stupid since...and of course made to prevent Serbia of tracing War Criminals against its own nationals...
...and of course to help out Kouchner's Kosovo Albanians protégés and suspected War Criminals like Ceku.
Hee,hee...one more time international laws "IN ACTIONS" and of course directly against Serbian interests.
So long for the universality of international laws and equality of the nations.
