My point on this is for all those that chastise all the time Albanians, they should think it over.
(Kosova-USA, 2 July 2009 12:01)

Why? Just because there is crime in other places, it doesn't absolve you from crimes.

Human trafficking of any sort is ghastly and should be punished severely (regrdless of nationality) but organ harvesting has got to be the lowest. This seems to be exclusively an Albanian thing and cannot be swept under the carpet because these people smugglers were caught.

Just once I would like to see Albanians condemn their own criminals instead of always saying, well you do it too. Yes, we all have criminals but unlike you we condemn our own.

Ataman I often agree with you on many things but this is a terrible crime- what do you think happens to those people who do not pay the smugglers they demand?

(marKo, 2 July 2009 21:43)

Probably not much good. I have no excuse for them and even if it is "only" taking someone to Germany, it's not a honorable business, that's what I wrote. "Alban" tried to excuse them to some degree but I did not agree with him. You maybe mixed up our writing - please read again.

But yes, we crossed the "forbidden" East-West border many times and several times illegally - without ever even thinking about a "coyote". I underscore again what I already wrote in #7: never ask a "coyote", it's very unsafe. We did it simply using a proper loophole in the law (long story) and in the front of border guards. Many laws have loopholes and it was possible to use these even in East Germany. Loophole is OK, "coyote" is not.

I said it before and I will say it again it seems that crime is the only thing that unites people in the Balkans.

In North America people like this are responsible for the murder of many people from south and central America looking for a better life in North America. These scumbags are often refereed to as Coyotes

Guys,
this is isn't always the "slave trade."

In most cases, it's me or you wanting to go to Germany for work and someone for $10,000 will take me /you there.
(Alban, 2 July 2009 16:08)

Still not a honorable "business".
BTW: it's safer to cross on your own. We crossed the Berlin Wall many times and knew where and how to cross it either way. Not a single time caught. ;)

Perhaps we could learn a thing or two from murderers, drugsmuglers and human traffickers. They seem to know how to work together but ordinary people don't. Well let's not get caried away, it has to do with the fact that they don't have any shame. They would sell their mother for a quick buck.

Kosova-USA
Yes! There are criminals everywhere but Albanians are famous for smugling drugs and human trafficking.

Multi-ethnicity working at its worst.

Kosovo-USA - it's not that people don't accept the multi-national make-up of these despicable rings. Of course there are gangs throughout Europe and beyond trading on the most unimaginable misery.

The point about Kosovo is that it is widely recognised by as a hub into the rest of Europe for these activities and others to thrive.

These women and children (anyone under 16) are raped every day repeatedly by men in brothels in Kosovo and other countries. I wonder how many of the 'internationals' frequent these establishments?

I would like to see far stronger action to smash these rings throughout Europe.

There was a news story a year or so ago about a 14 year old girl in Kosovo who refused to sleep with another man. Her 'owner' poured petrol over her and set her alight as an example. It took two days for her to die.

Who cares which individuals are running or aiding this sort of ring? Whatever nationality they are, they should be slung into prison indefinitely.

I can see now that everyone is going to look at the nationalities and make it the point of this article.
(Peter Sudyka, 2 July 2009 13:23)

Yes, they wonderfully represent the ethnic mix so typical for Belgrade. If Gypsies, Serbs, Chinese and Albanians are so typical for legal small business in the city - why wouldn't they be typical for shadow business as well?

--------

What a make up. Look at these criminals, they came from every corner of globe.
(Kosova-USA, 2 July 2009 12:01)

As I said, it's rather typically "Belgradian" mix. You can find pretty much the same in small car repair shops (Gypsies), electric appliance shops (Chinese, Koreans), bakeries (Albanians), electronic shops (Serbs, Chinese, Albanians). Just ones chose the more difficult way but want to sleep better. The others chose a "shortcut" to become rich, but it can lead to rather hot place if there is afterlife.

Anyway, good riddance and many years in "State-sponsored" facility with free food and lodging...

The ten persons indicted were identifies as Srđan Veličković, Petar Savić, Dragan Jovanović, Ljubisav Petrović, Zoran Ivanović, Nazim Mehmeti, Zhao Jianli, Zhang Jianmin, Hazir Hasani and Fu Shaogen.

Looking at the names above, it prooves that crime knows no bounderies , nationality, race and religion.
