Not all, but generally speaking you are right. It's a smuggler's heaven up North.

---It's just that they want to pay them to Serbia and not Kosovo.

I live in USA and pay my taxes here. If I want to pay taxes to Belgium, I can move there.

---Afterall, Serbia owns the deed to Kosovo.

The deed to Kosova belongs to the people living there, and if you want to go back in history, it belongs to the indigenous people, today's Albanians.

Why won't you move from USA and pay taxes to your beloved Kosovo? It's so easy to talk, do the walk. I am sure, they will appreciate to tax your income which is probably more than the Kosovo-average 190 Euro/month. At the same time it wasn't you who complained once about your wage in Albania?

K-Serbs are CITIZENS OF SERBIA. So they should pay takses in Serbia - tot in illegal state. If Albanians would pay taxex in Pristina - this is their problem. Serbian citizens need pay taxes to serbian budget.

Can you prove that?
What mark did you make on Kosovo? There is plenty of proof about Serbs being there but notihing about Albanians.

it's not that the Serbs don't want to pay their taxes.

" These protests bys Serbs against EULEX will surely send some “great” signals to EU."
Pz

Indeed are these protests sending great signals to the EU, America and the rest of the world. The signal they are sending is that Serbia and the Serbian people will never let go of their territory. They will never allow for foreigners to dictate to them what to do in their own country.

“Customs within a country??? I have never heard of anything more ridicioulus! Of course there cant be any customs inside a country, only between different countries such as for example Serbia and Albania
(Srboslav, 25 June 2009 11:38)”
It is really strange, Serbs in Kosovo don’t want to pay taxes, don’t want to pay electricity, like they are somehow “the chosen ones to preserve the mankind”. These protests bys Serbs against EULEX will surely send some “great” signals to EU.

The partial blockade is entering its fourth day. Today’s one-hour blockade is being organized by businessmen and citizens’ groups from Kosovska Mitrovica and Zvečan, joining their fellow countrymen in the northern municipalities.
