Our duty is to protect all citizens and that is why the work will be suspended until an agreement is reached... We are facing a tense day considering the June 22 incident," Milošević added.

Ace, Ratko,

Some history lesson wouldn't hurt you, just the opposite.
It's true Albania's situation until '90 was very bad, but it's also true that until 1990 no one could leave Albania, as Albania was hermetically isolated, like North Corea today and many of those who dared to cross illegally the border were killed or arrested by the Albanian Military.
After 1990 it was impossible for any Albanian to enter the territory of RSFY without a visa. The border was heavily guarded by the Yugoslav side and many incidents occurred in that period. And you can immagine how easy it was for an Albanian pass holder to obtain a visum from the Milosevic government.

If you want to sound credible you shouldn't exagerate

Yes Ratko, me and my family were living in Albania and then after Milosevic came to power we thought 'This Milosevic guy sounds great, he is opening the borders with Albania, offering us free education, universities, jobs in state institutions, full democratic rights etc., we should move to Kosovo" - and then we did move and we build a house without permission, but Milosevic was so nice about it and understanding, he came personally to our house and brought us a welcoming present!
(nikshala, 23 June 2009 17:12)

Actually, the economic situation was so awful and pathetic in Albania that Albanians did in fact move to better places (read: ANYWHERE). Yugoslavia always had a higher standard of living, so yes, even under Milosevic there many Albanians from Albania who moved to Kosovo. Ratko is right.

albanians have absolutely NO right to build anything after all the crimes they have done. Even during Milosevic era they used to come from albania all year round and they would build houses anywhere without permits. They had total disregard for the rule of law.

I hope the KPS will also supply Serbs living in the enclaves with guns. And while they are at it give some guns to the Serbian priests in all the churches/monasteries so they can protect themselves from vandals and terrorist Albanians trying to expell them from their homes. Also Serbs living on the border with Kosovo should have weapons to stop Albanian thieves from entering their property trying to steal wood.

Nelli, would you be open to the prospect of every Serb family who wants to move back to Prizren or Pec to be supplied with guns too? If your answer is yes, at least you're consistent.

Why do Serbs have to protest everytime Albanians build smth? Who's stopping you from building your own roads? Perhaps you want investments from the same Government you so much dislike?

The incident occurred after the Albanians began the construction of a road leading to the houses they are building in Brđani,
