Violent student to be expelled

Actually I watched this on YouTube and while I can't understand the whole thing the female teacher seems to have hit the student first.

I am not condoning violence by pupils in the least, which is a real problem in the UK now, but why would she physically confront a male student like that?

She could have handled the situation in some other way rather than hitting him which was obviously going to inflame things.

It was very impressive the way that other students leapt up to defend her. That says a lot about their characters.

I would be interested to hear how the event appears to fluent Serbian speakers.

Both the teacher and the student are at fault. The teacher should have just gave her grade book to him and then expelled him. No need to play tug a war with this frustrated monkey.

B92 should report that the teacher was the first to land a jab followed by another hammer looking jab haha.

This weekend I moaned on and on, much to everyone elses boredom about out of control youngsters-and now this.

As you have all had enough I won't give my personal thoughts on this however

1 is is their a link for the violent exchange on youtube

2 Does the student have some defense under the law citing self defense or necessity if he were struck first.

3.are the School and teacher in any way culpable for if the student was struck first

4. What is the law in Serbia with respect to corporal punishment? Here in Canada both teachers and parents were permitted to spank until January of 2004 when the Supreme Court decided that corporal punishment by teachers is no longer acceptable but parents may spank.

Kate: cheers - unfortunately You Tube have removed it for a "terms of use violation". Strangely (and fortunately), you can stil find the clip of the young lass getting shot in Tehran. I wonder how YouTube decided on its terms of use.

Dave - that was terrible, that poor girl being shot. Sixteen and killed like that. Awful.

Re. this clip of the pupil/ teacher inicident I am surprised it was removed, but hope that someone has a copy of it to show in defence of the pupil's actions. There is no justification for him striking the teacher but she did clearly hit him first.
