Holy cow with demands of new elections!

SNS, DSS and Ns have nothing else to offer except hollow nationalist pathos. Their aggression is rising due to pretty good achievements of current government.

Honestly, Democrats. If you want to do good for Serbia call new elections. Just get rid of G17. Their economic policies are disastrous for Serbia.

We have their appointee, Jelasic, telling how it will take years for Serbia to recvoer (http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/feedarticle/8568500).

Given that the crisis has been made worst by them, there should be a new election.

The DS can't rely on the support of many of the minor parties in the coalition and a major partner, the G17, is threatening to leave.

There is nothing pragmatic about a nonfunctional government but there is no guarantee that an election will bring a stable coalition.

I believe that the SNS DSS NS and Maja Gojkovic have the best chance of forming a stable coalition. Although the Radicals will likely not join a coalition with Nikolic it is impossible to rule out that they may vote along with such a coaliton without being a partner; much in the same way that the LDP votes with the ruling coalition without being an active coalition member.

Another important consideration is whether the people want another election and whether they are happy with the current Government and its handling of Kosovo and the financial crisis.

It is true. The current policy seems to be the best possible in the circumstances.

This pragmatic path will benefit Serbia.

The reality is that young people want to be free to get on with their lives - to live, learn, earn and travel.

Nationalistic issues may energise the dreams of some, but those issues cut no ice elsewhere.

Lose to who? SRS won't co-operate with SNS so where does the majority come from. SNS-DSS-NS simply can't muster the numbers at the moment.
