UNMIK's present role "political"

UNMIK has failed and EULEX will fail too on ensuring equality in public spending on infrastructures for albanian and serbian areas. Public buildings such as hospitals, courts, police, municipal halls and roads are new and refurbished in albanian areas while old and dilapidated in serbian areas. UNLESS these public buildings and infrastructures are improved in the minority areas, the trust and confidence of the minorities in UNMIK and EULEX as well as the kosovo institutions will never be attained. These are tangible things which are used and seen in the day to day lives of people and creates huge impact on their minds.

That's why UNMIK should act and become much more active. Remember, 1244 is still valid and needs to be fully implemented!

It is time everyone accepts that Kosovo is just a Serbian province.

Albanian, why so angry at the internationals? Isn't this the game that the Albanians wanted to play. Enter to the west comes at a cost, and you're just starting to learn part of that cost. ;)

I think they should veto funding to the failed fake state of Kosovo. It's like flushing money down the drain. They could at least help people who can do something with their lives instead of just compalining at everybody and everything.

I love to read the archives of B92 to see the "reality on the ground".
For instance one year ago today it is reported that Serbia and Russia firmly reject the reconfiguration of UNMIK, and allowing EULEX to assume control.
Russia needed to approve EULEX but had already said that they would only do so "if" Serbia was in agreement. LO and BEHOLD Serbia became a strong supporter of the EULEX mission. Russia saves face--and so many here talks of the American puppets????
