"Paying blood money is standard in cases like this.
(Amer, 20 June 2009 20:38)"

Which those mass murderers from the USA have no intention of doing anyway.

Where is that pro-Albanian self-righteous and self-appointed god of human rights from the bay area that always shys away from commenting on the Albanian organ harvesting atrocities, Bosnian Muslim atrocities, and the American atrocities against innocent civilians? I bet you all a nickle each he is out there on some other story bashing away at the Serbs in order to reinforce his judgemental ego. When is this individual going to see the light and realize that there is no difference between an American life or any other human life??? A child is a child is a child--my brothers and sisters!

'The Yankees should be made to pay big time to the Afghans whatever the economic problems back home.'

Paying blood money is standard in cases like this.

Can you say WAR CRIMES?

The US is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths per year, civilian deaths. Where is the outcry from within our government. Is this the lesson of human rights for the 21st century? Although tragic, we have the nerve to voice our opinion regarding the death of civilians in IRAN/PERSIA? Hypocracy democracy.

This is nothing less than a war crime and should be handled as such. But wont because the Americans feel they are above the law. The world has had enough of them and are fed up, as evident in every country I have been.

So the US was responsible for the slaughter of at least 86 civilians & the response is that 'procedures will be changed'.

Fact of the matter is that existing procedures weren't followed in the first place & that this abomination was a war-crime.

And the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission report came up with the figure of 'at least' 86 because 21 were women and 65 were children.

Small wonder then that the suicide rate of the returned services personnel is so high.

I pity that 'young captain' mentioned in the article above, & those like him.

Mere verbal acknowledgement is convenient and doesn't cost one dime. The Yankees should be made to pay big time to the Afghans whatever the economic problems back home. And those responsible should be sent to the Hague asap -- but don't hold your breath for this to happen though in our double standards world.
