This summit has provoked a further conflict over the kosovo/a issue. Because Kosovo was not invited Albanian Part decided not to participate.

Europe should be more carefull now. It eased with Serbia the Visa issue to promote demokracy in Serbia. Why they haven't done this for Bosnja_hercegovina and Albania.
This is the first round guys. Others will follow. The balance in Ballkan has Changed. Albania is in Nato.

I guess you were wearing your bullet proof vest otherwise you wouldn't be here to write about it. And hopefully you wore a gas mask so you wouldn't have to smell open sewers.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqP0aNPhaTs&feature=related

Let's hear what Robert De Niro has to say about Belgrade.

"1st of all... Kosovo is invited, since it's country (Serbia) is hosting the event.

2nd... what has albania contributed to europe lately besides drugs, sex slaves and mother theresa??"

First of all I find this very offending. Second, its a very ancient thinking and part of a hate speech.

To be honest, kosovo is not invated, because inviting Serbia does no sense of thinking that Kosovo is invited too. If you want to talk with facts where this argument is supported you are more than welcome. But you are not to talk in this way, where your opinions are stated as arguments. Let me tell you, people who don't either know much or don't have created the necessary culture to make a respectful discussion do this only.

Second, Albania has contributed very highly to the prosperity and stability in the region. People like you are used to think that Albania is just a four and a half country, are used to use any kind of hate speech towards them and blame them for any bad thing that happens in the world.

Serbia, Greece or anyother regional country, has never given the world a person with the value, contribution and dignity of Mother Teresa. I find it very offensive to name her in the category of criminals, "modern slavery" and drugs.

Balkan countries are all a transit, a destination and contributors to all these problems. Just read the Department of State reports on that.

Cheers,

Peter RV

If Tadic is 'hosting', this means that he is paying the bill for it. Impressive number of of thoroughly unimportant states (missing only 'Kosova'), all of whom have Presidents who would go anywhere to get a free meal.
Poor Serbia.

"How come the President of Abhkazi and South Osetia have not been invited?"
Kosova-USA

For the same reason Albania and Kosovo were not invited. They are no real countries and their only contribution to the region are problems. The discusion at this summit is also bringing up how to keep down the spread of the uck and its criminal organization in the region.

B92,

It is full disgrace that you publish such non sense comments. To associate the drug dealer or criminals (which can be found everywhere and in Serbia inclusive) with Mother Teresa tells very big gap of culture. That is very important sign that the attitude of Serbian toward Albanians is only like that as it always has been.

I haven’t seen in Germany any Serbian to be better than me.

I think this will be an important meeting, but not up to its potential. Albanian president has decided not to be present due to the non invitation of Kosovo.

Yes, I am sure that Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia (all EU members), as well as Croatia and Macedonia (both EU candidates) can learn a lot on those three E's from prosperous and successful economic juggernauts, like Kosovo and Albania are.

“Common work… ” to me it does not seem as such. Where are Albania’s and Kosovo’s Presidents?? Oh let me guess, Albania and Kosovo have long time overcome the Challenges of the 3 Es—Economics, Energy and European Integration, so no need for them to be there.

I think this will be an important meeting, but not up to its potential. Albanian president has decided not to be present due to the non invitation of Kosovo.

Its impacts make this summit not live up to its full potential and will be followed with a meeting with the presidents of Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia in the city of Vlora in Albania.

It will give them some homework and remaind them of the new reality created in the region.

Looking forward for the results of this summit.
