Every country must be able to protect its sovereignty and territory in order to stand on its own. So, now when we have the opinion of the International Court of Justice which stated that Kosovo's independence did not violate the international law, it is a must for Kosovo to have a security force (Army) to do so.

If you want real democracy like most Albanians say then ask ALL (!) persons in Serbia to vote on Kosovo independence.

Let the people decide.

OK?

What you saying is similar if you ask Russian people to vote, if Georgia and any other former USSR republics should be Independent or not.

Did the people of Serbia (both Albanians and Serbias, everyone living in Serbia) say that KSF is OK? That Kosovo independence is OK?

No!

I dont understand this one, how can KSF replace KFOR now when they dont even have the proper equipment, training or weapons for that matter. Secondly, why should Prishtina spend billions of euros (KFORs maintance) when they can secure our state, both in the ground and air for FREE! Today the money are more needed in education, healthcare and creating jobs for ppl. When time comes we too will have our own armed forces as we have our own police force.

As long as KFOR troops are in Kosova to guaranty its security from any potential Serbian provocation, there is no need for KSF to be at the forefront. They are better off if they take the time now to train and equip themselves for the future. Thankfully, the US and Germany are providing them with weapons and armaments. Needless to say, with Albania joining NATO, KFOR on the ground, KSF in the shadows, and the US on the side of the Albanians, there is no chance for Serbia to try anything.

He also stated that the planned scaling-down of the KFOR contingent would not impact on the security situation in the province.

If the KSF(uck) cannot substitute for KFOR, and KFOR plans to 'scale-down', how will the security situation NOT deteriorate??? doublespeak me thinks!
