Nearly 300,000 refugees, IDPs in Serbia

I think the correct phrase should read:

Nice going Miloservic / Serbia, you have managed to displace 300,000 people from their homes in your efforts to create Greater Serbia. Shame on you for playing with the lives of innocents, for your own political / nationalistic greed.

The return of refugees is unlikely to happen. Most have fled conflict, some found new lives. What have they got to go back for when there in nothing waiting for them. The Croats are hoping to have a pure state and Kosovo are praying no one returns. The dream of multi-ethnic state am afraid is only a myth in that part of the world. Lets stop kidding ourselves.

Kosova in the last census had 2M of inhabitants of which about 90% Albanians.

The remaining 10% are: Serbs, Montenegrin's, Turks, Roma etc.

Now how much is 10% (I am exaggerating with 10% but let it be 10%) out of 2M????

Note: in the same 10% you must include the k-Serbs, Montenegrins, Turks, Roma that already live in Kosova.

Now the number of the K-Serbs refugees and IDP in Serbia is....????

So 300k serbs ethnically cleansed from Croatia, and 200k serbs ethnically cleansed from Kosovo. Serbia shame on you for not kicking out anyone from your country that is not Serbian...otherwise you would have NATO support, loans, access to EU and tons, tons of good support from the WEST. It was the posters of Biden and the payouts that really put a country in the good books!

Ben, please do tell us if 90% Albanians was the correct figure prior to 1999.

If you find that this was not correct then something must've happened to the Serbs and other non Albanians. They were ethnically cleansed and more Albanians from Albania imported. This is exactly how you achieved you 90%.

So if you want to be honest let's look at those figures first and then we might visit your assumption that Serbia does not have that many refugees from Kosovo.

I bet that the figure was less than 90%.

But even according M. Albright Nikshala should be corrected. Here is the version of M. Albright, the Secretary of State under Clinton:

While I am not necessarily supporting her views regarding the 72 day bombing (mildly speaking!), she did say on one occasion:

"Milosevic does not care about Greater Serbia, all he does care about is Greater Milosevic". And I can only agree with that - adding that the rest (Tudjman, etc.) wasn't any better. That is factual, I am not saying it to excuse Milosevic to any degree.

Don't you mean Croats and Albanians "liberated" their ancient lands they have occupied since 2000BC by kicking those pesky Serbs back to Serbia?
