Ataman,

I expect this guy to accept Kosova's independence, constitution and law first before being appointed.
(EA, 16 June 2009 22:35)

That does not make him any better or worse. Political opinion has not much to do with ethics or character to begin with. And is it his real opinion?

Make a guess, is he honest in his deeds - or maybe he has vested interest for the time being.

Political opinion, business and private life shouldn't be mixed. I know countless marriages across the classic enemy lines. And believe me, if A. Ceku or H. Thaci would call me because they have problem with our hardware I would treat them as VIP customers and handle their complaint seriously.

In that spirit the above case is obviously a conflict of interest and this is why I am saying, you don't need that guy.

I have never thought I would ever agree with Ataman, but seems that we still have a chance; in other words, there is always a common ground we can land safely. Yes, we don’t want a person in such important position to ever adjudicate any matter. If he is really a part of unmentioned “business” he should be immediately discharged, instead find another professional who will be at the same time representing its community with the dignity. But, what if he is clear one, but targeted as everyone else in this kind of situations? So, here is an advice; don’t haste, give people a chance, everyone is granted to act on his own as his/her living is concerned. I am 100 % sure, he will be praised if he would have been elected, let say for example as a member of the supreme court of Germany.

"They will be joined by three international judges named by International Civilian Representative Pieter Feith: Snezhana Botusharova-Doicheva from Bulgaria, Robert Caroline from the U.S. and Almiru Simush Rodriguez from Portugal."

Three international judges? I guess Mr. Feith regards Kosovo as part of Serbia then because if he didn't he would say four international judges. Which country coes Cukalovic come from? If Kosovo was independent then that would make four international judges.

Yellow journalism oce again.
B92 knows fully well this guy will not reject his position at the highest court in Kosova so what do you do? You begin the FIRST sentences by smearing him.

If you don't believe me, go look at the story once again. The first paragraph is all about how is a bad person blah blah conspiracy blah blah alligations.

"And I thought Kosovo was independent! Rather dependent!"

Becuase we have 3 Int judges? We agreed to that. Watch as EU changes your constitution as well.

Strange that a non-Kosovo Serb gets this position, while Kosovo Serbs can't even return to their homes in Kosovo. It's more proof that Kosovo was in good part about systematic theft of Kosovo Serb property - and that non-Kosovo Serbs are less threatening because they aren't reclaiming any property in Kosovo.

Certain individual from both sides will never accept peace. Kosova's institution job is to neutrilise them.

Are you sure, you need THAT guy? Just use your common sense.

"Čukalović was involved in a corruption scandal at Kragujevac University"

What that means "Don't spare any Serb whom join Kosova's institution".
