as i have noted before, she may not be the nicest gal in town, at least with me. i won't repeat what i said of her back then. but she is in the right here and deserves our support.

I see. You condemn her when you don't agree with her but praise her when you do.

Why am I not surprised that you would support her now?
I bet you supported Carla as well until she wrote that book damaging the snake and co.

Now, is Carla exercising free speech or is she a trouble maker? Roberto, you can't have it both ways.

Rubbish.

Hartmann like many others who have done their 'stint' in the ICTY seem to think it is open season to treat it as their won't.

At least this is highly unprofessional and ethically wrong behavior, or do french judges, spokespeople and other court attendants usually write books when they leave using data accrued from their jobs?

It does go to show that the ICTY really is a circus where chancers, flakes, self-promoters, jumped up 'experts' (world renoun statistician Dr. Patrick Ball for example - whose analysis has been destroyed by real, professional statisticians, and not to mention all the politicians from the west who lied directly to the court about their role/evidence)
can make their names and get their 15 minutes of fame.

All they have to do is perform correctly for the prosecution and the supposed defense that is offered by the court.

For all the self-promotion the ICTY and its supporters blear on about, two facts stand out. 1: the transcripts contradict many of the claims made by the prosecution and their 'humanitarian' supporters; 2: The more recently set up ICC is specifically NOT based on the ICTY model; 3: historians will be far more damning about the ICTY when it finally shuts its doors.

The ICTY operation has shown real justice has not changed since the victor's of 50 when it should have been something much, much better.

Hartmann is being prosecuted because she she showed up the ICTY for being one-sided so publicly and abusing her former position for her own personal advancement. Why is it ok now she doesn't work for them if it is simply a question of 'freedom of speech'??? Because she thought there would be no sanction. There's a reason that journalists are ranked along with politicians as the least respected by the public.

the case IS an attack on free speech. hartmann was one of the few people true to the intent and duties of the court and i respect her for it.
