Iam amazed as to how a Spanish football club,with more than 20% unemployed people in the country and club debts exceeding $1 billion can still afford to pay cuch obscene transfer fees and salaries.

Having said that i think it was brilliant business for MU.

That's exactly what some Spanish people said yesterday on the news and they add that some Spanish soccer clubs should focus more on contracting Spanish players than foreigners. By the way Serbia won again.

What does Real have to do with Spain? In Russia there is misery on the streets but many are gazillionaires. Even in Serbia they are almost billionaires

Imagine in this time of recession how many hundreds of millions Real have to throw around.
The last time they tried to buy success by assembling the most expensive team in footballing history that project failed.
If it fails again surely the benefactors will go bankrupt?
