"But do not doubt that the objections of the EULEX is in assisting (thats not decision making) the kosovar goverment. We all know the Kosovar status is over and done with. EULEX's job is not easy, but in short passing the orders from K-gov. to the serb minority. Thats the main objective of the EULEX.

You talked as if EULEX is mere subordinate to Pristina. Wrong! It is exactly the other way round.

EU is now in charge of Kosovo through Eulex although they couched in in terms palatable for Pristina -- their recommendations to you are always invariably taken up by Pristina who would not have dared to refuse.

This customs tax will ultimately be settled between Belgrade and BRUSSELS. Brussels will then get EULEX to "recommend" a policy for Pristina to "agree" to. That's realpolitik -- you don't have a choice. You need EU too much for your economy and security. Surely the fact that the Serbian minister in charge of Kosovo was in the north to talk to the protestors there speaks for itself -- if Pristina had any real choice, I am sure that minister would not have been able to travel into north Kosovo at all.

Like the aggression pact "NATO" occupying southern Serbia, €ULEX will soon run out of funds and hence no more €UROCRAT (and NATO) bullying.

In comes RUSSLEX.

Whatever info that Eulex collects (on commercial vehicles only by the way) is shared with BOTH Serbia and Pristina. This is line with its status netural mission. So hotheads should not make mountains out of molehills.

Lowe thats that news its more than a few months old. EULEX is getting ready for taxations on all vehicles comercial and noncomercial.

Get ready for the stamp of Kosova on your passport. These things are being done slowly, easy but surely. The only thing that is delaying the process is for the Tadic's appeasment, leaving him place for manouvre. After all even serbia has a place in europe.

And the fact that this Serbian minister was in north Kosovo despite Pristina's ban ..... that in itself tells a lot about the reality on the ground, doesn't it?

Serbia needs to be rewarded rapidly for its compliance. This is a window of opportunity.

There is no guarantee that there will not be a backlash if it becomes clear that the EU is making demands but withholding the rewards.

Tadic is following the only sensible policy at the current time - but if there is no reward he will be replaced by someone who is not so concerned about the EU being the way forward. That could lead to another nasty mess.

Europe itself appears to be changing; there is a swing to the right. That may well benefit Serbia - as (real) nations reassert their own independent identity they will have a better understanding of Serbia's position on Kosovo.

After all, the bombing was supposed to be a humanitarian intervention against an evil dictator - not an invasion and illegal land-grab.

Who and what is EULEX?

EULEX Mision statement:

The ESDP mission will assist the Kosovo authorities, judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies in their progress towards sustainability and accountability. It will further develop and strengthen an independent and multi-ethnic justice system and a multi-ethnic police and customs service, ensuring that these institutions are free from political interference and adhering to internationally recognised standards and European best practices.

Let the readers decide what it means.

The sooner the serbs realise the truth the sooner Tadic will work for the better of his country.

"It is impossible for the Serbian government to make a decision, and for the local self-administration in the north to make another".

I agree with you Mr Bogdanovic, this is very difficult and leads to confusion but the fact is that you are taking orders from EULEX and not listening to the local authorities and the people in the north, basically you are not representing the people and looking out for what is best for them. You and your party invited EULEX in so you have to do what they tell you. In fact you are helping EULEX to incorporate the north into the wider Kosovo political setting. You are working with EULEX to create an Albanian state on Serbian territory..

Serbia wants visas so they have to do 110% of what EULEX wants. All 27 members agree with EULEX, so unofficially 5 don't recognize K but 27 of them are doing what's needed to be fully independent.

Tadic can't admit this of course.

He (Bogdanovic) reminded that the Serbian government gave EULEX the go-ahead to deploy in Kosovo last year.

Hilarious, this so-called "Kosovo" official can't even get into Kosova. Bogdanovic was banned by Prime Minister Thaci from entering Kosova, because he was a troublemaker.

I'm afraid that Minister Bogdanovic is simply telling the K-Serbs what Tadic is telling him to say. And Tadic is walking a fine line between appeasing the K-Serbs and his Western masters. Bogdanovic, and others in the government need to impress upon Tadic the rights and expectations of the K-Serbs- and the major expectation is Belgrade's 6-point plan to Eulex....which so far, has only been ignored. Tadic needs to force that 6-point plan upon Eulex- or expect many, many more demonstrations...which eventually may lead to further unrest. Tadic is saying that Serbia will never give up Kosovo- but the K-Serbs really mean it!!!

or else what mr Bogdanovic...will you lose your job like Peter Feith threatened last year in a three page document, recently published in Politika. "Bogdanovic is not playing the game"

really, EULEX supports Albanians, Serbs will never and that dear friends is the future history.

Failed state like afghanistan and others...actually, it is not a failed state, because you have to be a state in the first place...duh!
