That's exactly why they don't want to ask the people. They know they will say no! Why do you think they are pushing this question so aggressively? Their time is running out. It's now or never. What kind of democracy is it when a few hungarians can rule the majority Serb population in VOjvodina? The statute will not pass anyway, but it should be debate on to make it look like we care.

ASK the people what they want all the serbs are tired of this statute which will not and should not pass, because over 70% of vojvodina are serbs ask what the people want .

They should get it! As soon as the thousands of Serbs massacred by Hungarians get theirs.
The Hungarians in Vojvodina are pressing this statute matter more agressivly than any other minority. They see their chance to take a piece of Serbia while they think they still can. They will fail because there is no Milosevic to blame this time. If you don't believe me then seach the internet and you will find droves of Hungarians claiming misstreatment and seeking independence for Vojvodina.

These people were murdered by Communists, the same way Poles, Ukrainians, Germans, Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians and others were.

Don't blame the Serbs. Hungarian fascists murdered Serbian civilians as well, no one should blame the Hungarian people of today.
