Bgannon, yes, we have all noticed that the war is over, but have you noticed that the hunt for every Serb defender who dared to defend his people will never be over?

Why do you so cheerfully agree to hand over every Serb who defended his people to Hague while others refuse to even hand over papers?
Please do tell us why are you so eager to lock up every Serb that the west accuses of crimes? Are Serbs not allowed to fight for their own?

Please don't start with, yes they can fight but they cannot commit crimes rubbish. War is Hell and everyone who fought can be classifeid as a criminal. I would like to see what you would be capable of if you were thrown into this Hell and just found that the whole village was massacred.
You cannot compare the way people think and how rational they are in peace to how they are in war.

Would you be so civilized in war? It's easy to condemn your own especially when you don't have to be in their shoes, not even for a minute.

Think about it.

Adam well I don't support the death penalty, I'd be happy if he were sent to prison for a long time.

If you think he would be sent to prison in Croatia fair enough but otherwise you are not thinking at all.

And in case you haven't noticed the war is over.

You didn't get my point bganon, gotovina needs to face the firing squad. Im just jalous of the croatians protecting/defending their own, something we are not doing at all. We are handing in anyone and everyone to the hague while the croatians are "loosing papers" and are not co-operating at all.
Good on them!

and also bganon you go tell the Serbs from Serbia to go and defend the "grandmother" instead of spectating and looking after their own behind!

bganon

'Good on the Croatians, protecting their own'.

Now go tell that to a Serb family that had their grandmother murdered in cold blood by Gotovina's forces.

Unless there are real consequences behind not complying - and there never really are for Croatia - the Hague may never see the documents.

Croatia was never sanctioned, bombed, or kept from progressing towards the EU over what it did to Serbs. In fact it was aided by the west in cleansing the Serbs and being rewarded after doing this.

Why would the Croats not shred any and all documents which may incriminate them?common sense would dictate that all the war criminals in Yugoslavia(especially in croatia) would know how to operate simple paper shredders. The eyewitness accounts of Serbs expelled from Croatia is proof enough.Maybe Serge should talk with them.

King Damir,

Sin is defined "as a transgression of God's will."
Gotovina is then a messenger or God, sent her to do his will, is that what you suggest?

If the ICTY really needs these types of documents, it just shows they have nothing. It's the UN that should be on trial for their failure to stop serb/yugo war crimes. It's a sin to keep Gotovina and the other generals locked up.
