I agree with Bganon, Kostunica's only chance of forming a government ever again is to form a political union with Nikolic.

The leaders of the conservative wing in Serbia would be Tomislav Nikolic, Vojislav Kostunica, Velmir Ilic, Maja Gojkovic and Aleksandar Vucic. If all those politicians start thinking of real solutions to Serbia's many problems, and not just Kosovo then we can see a rebirth of the conservative wing in Serbia.

I am a Serb from Pristina and my mom just came back from visiting Gracanica, Kosovo is Serbia, but right now there are other problems that conservatives in Serbia have overlooked which has cost them at the polls

I support an SNS-DSS coalition.

If the two could muster enough votes in one of the Belgrade municipalities in the elections this week then a coalition should be formed. It is also key to keep the SRS out of the coalition because adding them would create a nonconstructive coalition for citizens as the SRS are not really a political party, but a Seselj fan club.

An SNS-DSS coalition could show citizens in part of the biggest city in Serbia that a conservative coalition can be constructive and that you do not need the DS in power in every municipality in order to have a government that is actually looking at the problems they are facing, rather than just trying to bail Seselj out of jail.

My prediction is that if a SNS-DSS coalition can be formed in one or both of the municipalities, there will be less corruption than a DS led government, and many in Serbia would be surprised as how constructive it can be.

If polls for the districts of vozdovac and zemun in Belgrade are to believed the SRS may cease to be a factor in Serbian politics.

DSS had better wise up about which is the more reliable partner and stop thinking of it as Nikolic outranking Kostunica on account of having more public support.

Besides, it makes sense for DSS to take away SNS as a potential partner of a future DS led government.

A SNS-DSS coalition seems perfectly natural. Depending on how many SNS members defected from SRS, there many not be a need for additional support.
