I wonder how much of that fortune comes directly from pushing for independence and how much from recognition of Kosovo.

Cigarette smuggling is obviously only one of his business investments. Being a crooked politician would account for the bulk I would say.

Hi Bgannon,

Your comments are weird, "you don't have anything against Milo personally" of course you don't because you dont know him in real life.
Than you go say "he is the most capable politician and he is "clever" and than you hope justice catches up with him?
Are you saying he is a capable crook? Is that what you mean?
The opposition is not divided as they are crooks themselves.
Milo needs to rot in jail.

Nice!! Congratulatin to Montenegro people for choosing him again and again even though media was reporting about his corruption and richness while ordinary people are struggling. When you have money you can buy power, that is what it comes to unfortunately.

I don't have anything against Milo personally and as I said before he is the most capable politician in Montenegro (its actually an insult being a clever politician in a way).

However, I really, really hope that justice will catch up with him one of these days. He is crooked, there is no question about it.

If the Montenegrin opposition were not so divided and they all hammered home the corruption message during elections I feel sure that Milo would have less support.
