By the end of Obama's second term in office the US embargo against Cuba will most likely be lifted. If Bill Clinton was able to do this with Vietnam even though thousands of Americans died in a foolish war and residual hard feelings remain among many veterans then Obama should rightly do it with Cuba where no Americans died and only a small but powerful Miami right wing lobby would be against the lifting. On the other hand, what do the majority of the Cuban people want and is Castro willing to allow free elections?Do the people of Cuba deserve the same rights today as the people of Nicaragua,Venezuela,Bolivia where the majority voted for left wing leaders?I think they the Cuban government has a chance to prove to the world that after 60 years in power the majority of Cubans freely vote for their candidates left center or right.Viva la Cuba
