Like I have said before EULEX was allowed in. It's a mistake to agree to have EULEX there. They are there for one pupose only.

Now the Serbian government should either stop making such huge mistakes and work towards keeping Kosovo or stop telling up porkies.

All the protests and taking the case to ICJ are not going to do anything unless you can hold your territory under your control. The Law is not worth the piece of paper it's written on onless it can be enforced. We all know that ICJ is there to advise only. Who will enforce this law? Kosovo is gaining strength all the time.

Serbia time is not on your side. It's time to wake up to this Serbian government and get rid of it. We may get to the point when it's too late no matter who is in power in Serbia.

Alban: "Serbia can't bite the hand that feeds here--even if they had a legal case, which they don't."

Are you kidding? Serbia has been 'fed' nothing by the EU. Unlike the protectorate of Kosovo, she is not reliant upon falling into line to be rewarded with what is rightfully her's anyway.

What happens when you take everything away from a country is that they no longer have anything to lose. Serbian diplomacy has been extremely clever and will win out at the end of the day - precisely because she has law and many, many nations on her side.

"...His face must be turning pretty red by now."
No, not at all.The legality of the "government" that made such decision cannot qualify it as a "slap in the face".
The real "slaps" that rightfully resulted in the redness of faces, were the repeated "slaps" rightfully delivered into Sejdiu's face in very short time intervals. The "slaps" were delivered by a legal government of a sovereign country.

Just keep it up. The more eulex violates international law, the more reparations Serbia gets when it sues the eu after the ICJ rules against the udi. I saw the pro-udi briefs - they contain not a shred of a legal argument - every country in the world would be required to give up territory under its non-logic, especially the usa. This is why the us is desperately trying to get Serbia into the eu before the ruling. Now the price of getting into the eu is not recognition of Kosovo, instead Serbia must drop the ICJ case. Even hillary clinton is trying to "reset" with Serbia. I think Serbia should file a case against the UN for violating its own charter. When Yugoslavia sued NATO members for the unprovoked attack in 1999, the ICJ ruled that a) they had no jurisdiction over NATO even though it is composed entirely of UN members and b) Yugoslavia was not a member of the UN at the time even though the name was the same, the capital was the same and parts of Yugoslavia was dismembered by western-promoted udis - two clear violations of the UN charter. There is a clear statement against the overthrow of a country by ARMED MINORITIES. In spite of all of the propaganda, the slovenians, the croatians, the macedonians, the muslims, the albanians (and even the "montenegros") were each minorities in Yugoslavia. And they had separate agendas. Notice how the us demands now that slovenia, croatia, bosnia, fyrom, and "montenegro" be multi-ethnic? I defer to director Emir Kusturica response when he told western reporters that he once lived in a multi-ethnic country called YUGOSLAVIA which was deliberately broken up by the west.
How is the west going to clear up the legal mess they got themselves in? Before it was a simple matter of bribing enough governments but the money is running out. The next year will be very interesting to watch - the us trying to maintain its dignity in the world - and losing it.

EVERYONE knew what EULEX was designed to do: implement Ahtisaari yet Serbia agreed to it. Why? Because you want to get in EU and must do what they tell you.

Bogdanovic should have behaved when he was in Kosova, he had plenty of warnings. Anyway, thank us for saving you money: why have a ministry when the minister can't get to work?

“Not for one moment was EULEX involved in this process, not even in conveying the request. The final decision was taken by the Kosovo government. EULEX can only be involved in offering escorts once a decision has already been taken,” Lamfalussy explained.

To me that is a PLAIN ENGLISH. Get the messege please you like it or don't like it. I find that messege very polite.

This is coming from horses mouth. With out a doubt we now know who runs Kososva, is not UNMIK or EULEX but Kosova Govermant.
