16 Serb officers have returned to work in the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) in the Gnjilane region since May 15, says regional spokesperson Ismet Hashani.

It's all about "jobs" and nothing else.
Serbs of Gnjilane do not have the luxury of being in the north where they can easily enjoy Belgrade's extended hand. So if Belgrade cannot, or does not, provicde for them, and they want to stay in Kosovo (which they should), they take what's offered.

i am really glad that serb police are returning to kosovo police, so we can make a more secure place for all different ethnicites living in kosovo.
serbs have even started to pay electricity bills, only one thing is remaining, that is to have a vice pime minister of serbian ethincity.

Why bother reporting these numbers from a provisional pseudo-government that habitually lies and nobody believes. This is typical american style propaganda by B92, which was outed in parliament by the Radicals, in which lies are mixed in with facts. The usual fare of bs that is spewed in america every day.

Nationalism and Ideology will not put food on the table for the families of these Serb KPS officers. Ultimately a hungry stomach prevails over any ideology. Economic law dictates that they will all eventually return.

Since Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence, over 300 have asked to be withdrawn from the Priština command chain and be transferred under the command of UNMIK and EULEX police instead.
Oh Please, don't mention UNMIK Police anymore , becasue there is none left in Kosova. UNMIK has oppend offices in each Municipality and they are called PAO (Political Affairs Office). their function is to monitor political situation at said Municipality and report through their chain of command, but they have no saying whatso ever on anything.

Since Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence, over 300 have asked to be withdrawn from the Priština command chain and be transferred under the command of UNMIK and EULEX police instead.
Oh Please, don't mention UNMIK Police anymore , becasue there is none left in Kosova.
