You like to use so much the word "West" as the source of all evils, ever wondered why countries which are definetly not the "West", Georgia or let's say Estonia don't want to have to deal with you anymore? Ever woundered why the east-europeans, which can be maybe the only ones that can truly understand russians (given the more or less forced common conditions in the last half of century), are now the most reluctant towards Russia (not people)? It can't be only evrybodyelse's fault in doing what they want with their destiny, isn't it?
Yes, I heard of the ukrainian minister, it's of course in what regards Romania not true but simply propagandistic, but also it's understandable in a way, it's not an easy period for them at all.

Sorry for the misprint - it was way back in 1897 when a Russian nationalist whose name escaped my memory while living on the occupied Russian territories for the first time in the history used Ukraine not as a geographical but ethnical meaning of the world. Before that the Poles and the Russians called the territories on their borders as UKRAINA i.e. at the edge. Moreover the Poles called UKRAINA to mark other territories on their borders including those in Germany.

It must be one of the CNN ducks cause nobody in Russia can even imagine that we can arrange here another civil war. As you must know Ukrainians as a nation were invented in 1997 in Austria. Before that nobody dared to call them anything but Russians. Later in 1922 the Communists went on the job and started to explain the Russians living in the South that since then on they are to call themselves Ukrainians. So how can I back for a war against pure Russians ? Even in Kiev City outside state institutions you will not hear any other speech but Russian.
As for the rest of your comment you continue to surprise me by believing in everything they say. I am skeptic enough about the Russian propaganda and I am triple skeptic about yours. We have been trusting in those democratic , liberal , humanitarian and other slogans for too long before we found ourselves at the edge and before we started to understand that those were propaganda tricks to cover the real politics aimed to destroy and conquer us. Since then we are demonized again. NATO as the military tool of the West’s domination needs Russia as the only real goal of it’s existence.
We are the most peaceful side but we aren’t going to sacrifice our freedom. Only if we face such a choice we shall chose war. In any other case we back for peace cause we know the price of peace better than any other nation. And we are able to keep peace on our borders whatever they do with EU carrots for our neighbors. NATO won’t take the risk to clash us for any of those 6 states and we know that. Besides we can always feel the breath of the US behind EU. We have enough mirrors here and I have never voted Medveputin not because of their foreign policy which I totally approve but because of what they are doing in our economics. They have risen an offshore elite with offshore economy. Inside the country we dislike quite different things from what we are attacked in the West.
We are also careful enough about China but because of EU/US hatred and hypocrisy we have to move eastward. Tell me who is to be blamed and which side is to lose China or the West ? By the way d’you know that last night Ukraine has declared Romania and Russia as potential military rivals ?
Each country is sovereign and has a right to enter into any kind of economic agreement with any other country based on mutual benefit.Russia seems to be looking for a fight or just prefers dealing with each country individually as opposed to the collective economic negotiating power of the entire EU but nobody in the EU is stupid enough not to realize the benefit of working together with Russia far outweighs the cost.Some politicians in the Ukraine must be really stupid to insist on terms so ridiculous that Russia prefers spending billions of dollars on new transit routes which may leave Ukraine with zero transit fees in the long run.As far as any military confrontation with the Russian bear is concerned any politician in the West who even for a second for whatever reason contemplates it should immediately check himself into an insane asylum.

4.Russia will accept the challenge and remain independent in the best meaning of the word.
5.Russia will blocking NABUCCO kind projects to remain the energy power number 1.
