"Or perhaps they should emigrate to serbia, perhaps the Belgrade should offer them asylum. Since they have no true value to Kosovo."

Must be a thorn in the eyes of Albanians to still see Serbs in Kosovo? We all know that ethnic diversity is not something Albanians want in Kosovo or anywhre else they form a majority. But we are here to stay. Deal with it best you can.

I think the situation for Serbs outside of the North will deteriorate sooner or later. That's why the Serb government is investing in the area that can be saved, the North.

Still thinking about greater serbia aren't you?. An American VP goes to Belgrade and tells you the opposite of what you said and still you're not convinced?. I'll tell you right now that Kosova will never be partitioned no matter what people like MikeC think.

Serbia investing in the north Kosova?. Maybe that would be possible once serbia is able to feed its' own people. It actually can be possible because Iraq did same thing when Saddam was in charge, he would let his people suffer and pay Hammas suicide bombers to kill Izraelis.
Right now you have to hope that someone from outside decides to invest in Serbia and please stop with this nonsense about Serbia investing.

Excellent news, let's hope the rest follow, at least if they have the interests of the K Serbs at heart.

"with such a huge force they can not provide safe environment for all the people and ask for European support? What kind of police they are! (passing by, 21 May 2009 17:53)"

Who knows, maybe if the 700 Serb police officers actually did their work as part of the KPS, then then KPS as a whole could more efficiently do the work of protecting citizens, especially of protecting Serb citizens. But of course I realise the political priorities of the Belgrade and Mitrovica political elite are more than important than that.

I am glad that the Serbian police officers are returning to their jobs. This move will benefit them and the Serbs in Kosovo who would rather deal with Kosovo police officers who are of their ethnicity vs. Albanian. I mean that’s the whole point of the decentralization which I think will greatly benefit the Kosovo serbs.

I've just learned that Kosovo police to population ratio is the highest in the world - 0.35% (0.08% in China, ) 0.25% in USA). And, with such a huge force they can note provide safe environment for all the people and ask for European support? What kind of police they are!

40 Serbs return to Kosovo police"

Funniest thing ever. For a paycheck they are willing to essentially recognize Kosova.
(Agim, 21 May 2009 12:13)

Truth of the matter is that they have been acknowledging the K-recognition since they cashed their first check from K-Interior Ministry. It's unfortunate the K-IM waited so long for such decision.

What happened. The ones that were bullied oout of their jobs are back or no more money form Serbia is it. Serbia has been told to care for its own matter.
