Out of nearly 200 countries only 59 or so have recognized Kosovo. Most of them under enormous pressure. Still, more than 2/3 or the world is yet to recognize the rag tag province. Even though a mojority of the world supports Serbia the US is continuing to insist on its own selfish agenda. As long as we have such tremendeous support Serbia should continue to resist. The longer we do that the more foolish the Americans will seem and the greater the embarrassment. There will never be true and longlasting peace in the Balkans, or the world for that matter, as long as the Americans continue with their destructive politics.

Just wanted to clarify my earlier post (No. 3). I had assumed that Biden's first stop would be Pristina which I am now not sure from the conflicting media reports.

Like Mike I expect nothing of value from this meeting. However, I would never let him into Serbia after what he has said and done to rape Serbia. Biden is definitely a war criminal, and definitely an anti-Serb hate monger, and definitely and albanian lobbyist in Washington.
A proper government with some pride would have never let this meeting happen.

We're making much ado about nothing here. Biden's visit to the region will be more of a photo op than anything else.

So he comes to Belgrade, gives a speech on improving US - (insert country) relations, the need for (insert country) to realize the US is its friend, and that the US is mindful of (insert country)'s attitude towards the US over the past 8 years. There'll be some ceremonial "reset" button thing, and then he'll retire to the US Embassy compound where coffee and cake will be served.

Go to Kosovo Province, repeat procedure.

I'm not expecting anything monumental out of this visit.

The only thing that Biden will bring to US-Serbia relations will be more pressure for Serbia to accept America's agenda. There will be no negotiations, no compromises, no understanding of the Serbian side of the equation. And even with Munter's words that this visit will bring relations to a "new, higher level"....Biden's visit will do nothing except increase the "pressure" in the Balkans. Serbia is a relatively small country in the world but the US doesn't realize (or appreciate) the Serb's determination not to be swallowed up. Thankfully, most countries of the world are allied with Serbia....something that the US wasn't planning on. It's now up to the US to relieve some of the "Balkan pressure" by honest negotiations- but knowing Biden, he is incapable of such.

For any US government occupation is the most preferable form of military cooperation. Tens of samples worldwide prove this statement. Moreover we have them in the Balkans and Serbia particularly.

So anything Bined will say is only camouflage of the real goals that in the US never change. When they speak of some reloading I always think they are reloading some armaments.

That stage is a musical comedy called american credibility. It is part of an opera cycle called american foreign policy. I thought munter left for Baghdad already. His current job is so pathetic, he volunteered for the worst assignment in the us state dept. There was a mutiny in the us diplomatic corp last year about assignments to Iraq. Some american diplomats refused to risk their lives for their job.

still, it would be prudent for Biden to bring an extra watch. No, better be on the safe side and bring at least a half dozen! (Just tongue in cheek okay folks? Don't get mad!)
