Should they allow only "racial pure" Norwegians to sing for them?

Not, but this sounds way to familiar for "American" like I am.
Let's see hard drives.

The microcode of Quantum drives (before Maxtor ate them) was Romanian-Russian.
The WDC drives are to a large part Croatian.
The manufacturing (of Quantum drives) was done by Matsushita Kotobuki. The manufacturing of other drives is done in Malaysia / Singapore / China.

IBM (before selling it's hard drive division) made the drives in Hungary, than moved to Romania.

The question: what is American?

"Can't they pull out somewhat of their own, maybe?"
The guy left Belarus when he was five and sings for Norway. I can`t see your problem. Should they allow only "racial pure" Norwegians to sing for them?

"Singer and violinist Alexander Rybak, 23, smashed the record for the most points awarded during the competition."

Yeah, Norway my @*s - obviously.

Reminds me of several glorious American and Canadian "firsts" at international Math Olympics: previous years the same young mathematicians usually won for China or Russia and the couch is Hungarian. Can't they pull out somewhat of their own, maybe?
